Thanks Jamie. Are BSo and i the only Jews on this thread?
Hard day. Very hard day. Holiday at cousin's where not everyone knows about divorce and I can't say anything b/c some of cousin's wife family will be there and Ma doesn't want them to know and mom wants everyone to be happy on the holiday and not make anything awkward. I don't like holding things back, it makes me feel like I'm part of a huge facade. Thank god my adorable little cousins will be there, they may be the only ones to get me through today.

Well I am not jewish but "hey, happy new year!" lol
For me it was a wonderful day: tae-bo, englis class and I made an A/3 size wallpaper of DRS... framed it and...well I have to ask my dad to drill a hole to my wall...so it will be hung within a month!

Hi folks.
Well, I'm not Jewish, but I had to pretend I was today. These guys were handing out friggin' bibles near the crosswalks. I had to say, "Sir, I'm Jewish. No thanks."
Gah.
How is everyone?
I knew it had to be job.
I'm exhausted. I...need...coffee.

lol Gav.
I will try that one too when I meet them next time.
I am fine...I don't know why but I have a feeling something is gonna happen tomorrow. (I hope something good)
Well it would be good for me if I wouldn't swallow 2 litre waters while swimming (I ain't trying to think of how many people just pee into the water). Ughh..
I;m watching Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind for the first time!
thanks Barb!
Did you like the movie liz? Cause I hate that movie.

really, Dre?? it's def. one of my all time favorite movies. it irks me that it's classified as a comedy, though, i think of it as a tragic love story.
hey, joanna gleason on Friends on TBS!
My father's side of the family is Jewish...I'm not, but dang do I enjoy the days off, I had yesterday off and tomorrow too!!
I'm a happy girl, have a full closet full of clean laundry, who really needs anything more in life!
Hmm...Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind...I def enjoyed it, not sure I would call it best/fav...I think what I give it lots of credit for is its originality, esp. now that so many movies are similar and now even remakes, it really was an original concept that screamed something different, and I appreciated it for that.

i agree, Amanda, it's certainly an original concept. another one i love is Fight Club, just like Sunshine, if anyone tried to use those concepts again, it'd flop. they did it first, they did it best kind of thing, ya know? i hated Secret Window (i think it was), because it went all Fight Clubish in the end where he was also the killer or whatever. i was like "omg, whatever!!!"
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is number 1 on my top 5 movies. (Yes, I have a top 5. Yes, I'm a film dork.) I really really admire Charlie Kaufman's writing. I think the screenplay is absolutely brilliant, and Jim Carrey's performance is amazing. The movie tells a simple story in such an original and incredible way. I love it. And I love that everytime I watch it, I notice something different. Charlie Kaufman is a genius.
..ehem. The end.
That movie confused the HELL out of me.

Aww, fight club. Someone gave away the whole movie to me before I ever saw it! So I kept trying to watch it but knowing just killed me and I couldn't do it.
Personally Kerrie, both performances were great, but if pressed I would single out Kate Winslet's great performance before I would Jim Carrie.
Secret Window, I can't honestly rate that. I rented it from Blockbuster w/ my friends and one of my friends says I'll love it, it makes you think. Five minutes into the movie I figured the whole thing out, just didn't know whether it was multiple personalities or blackouts. Wanna say it was quite obvious, but my friend saying it makes you think had me on the lookout for something like that right away. Ah well. It's Johnny Depp, can't be that bad.

Good morning everyone!
It is only 6.22am so I will go to sleep again but I had a nightmare (I don't know what it was) so I need to not sleep a little...God, I am hungry.
aw, gav. respect the people who give out those bibles (i take part in my church, and sometimes we give out stuff to strangers, in hopes that someone will read it and at least open their minds)
i loved kate winslet in that movie. she is AMAZING. and her accent...PERFECT. my goodness, you would NEVER EVER be able to guess she's british if you saw her for the first time there! and jim is one of my full time favorite actors, just because he is so versatile, and can do BOTH comedy and drama-and do them WELL.
lol, annie, i know that this will sound SOO stupid but...tehe! ur hungry in hungary! okay. stupid, STUPID joke. yeah.

It is okay Jamie! (Although I hear this joke everyday) lol
I know our country's name sounds stupid for you...for me too
I love Fight Club, but Spotless mind, like liz, confused me and made me fall asleep. And I never fall asleep to movies that I have not seen yet.
