well, i had an interesting evening. i had acting from 3-5pm where I had to perform a preview of a scene with my partner. I had to yell at lot, so it was no surprise that I had a sore throat afterwards. Well, I go to dinner then go for help on my essay then to the libray computers where I was looking up sources for my paper due tomorrow at 5pm. At around 8 pm, i started getting hot and cold at the same time. I checked my forehead, and it felt warm but I wasn't concerned. I left the library at around 10pm and felt really bad walking back to my dorm in the rain.

I get there and I'm talking to people online when I really start getting hot and cold and I had turned up the heating in the room. So I IMed my RA to ask if she had a thermometer and she said no, but she would run down to the Devil's Den (our little shop on campus) to get one. She gets back and I take my temperature. Almost 102. So, I decide to go to the hospital.

I get there, feeling like ****, they take my blood pressure, oxygen level, and my temperature, which turned out to be 102.5 now. Well, they tested me for strep throat and that came out negative and they gave me a shot of some sort of form of ibuprofen (like tylenol). That brought my temp. down to 101 and they gave me some ibuprofen to take every 6 hours with food or if there is pain. so, I lefted the hospital after being in it for a little over an hour. and my RA waited in the reception room for me. (I have to get her a gift). so, now I'm in my room, typing to you all.

The worst thing is that when i was laying on the bed and they were asking me questions, they asked me what religious denomination did i prefer. I thought only people who are dying get asked that question (turns out everyone should get asked that question when they are in the emergencey room, no matter what is wrong). So, that scared the **** out of me. And I was bawling. and i couldn;t use my cell phone to call my mom (who is a nurse and was working a night shift at her hospital in NJ).

but the only cool thing is that i have a little bracelet on my wrist. keeping it for tomorrow. I'm lucky thanksgiving break starts tomorrow and i get to go home. lol. Oh, and i found an email from greg about something when i got back so that made my day, night whatever.

so, that was my night. and I have to finish up a paper due at 5pm tomorrow, but I am taking a shuttle to the train station at 3 and I still have to pack. Yay for me!

Dre - Oh wow I hope you feel better soon! Hospitals suck.

Looking forward to relaxing over break. After I call UW-Milwaukee admissions tomorrow the only thing I'll have to worry about for the remainder of the semester is finals. Then I can look forward to starting the spring semester at a new college.

Morning everyone. I'm off to school in an hour or so. It's crapy ut and I don't want to drive in the rain. But I have to since there is no school Thursday or Friday. I don't think my professors would like it if I missed today as well.

I will only point out that there is a thread on this site discussing the fact that there are 525,600 RENT posts here already. I'm quite certain that the originator of this post wasn't even beginning to take into consideration those posts which were hidden under misleading titles - like this one.

Oh well, I'll continue to pop in to say good morning and I'll always be here for the cam. But that's about it.

I'm sorry Mamie. It's just something I've been following for a year and I'm very excited about. Look, after today I won't be talking about it as much, please don't decrease your posting just b/c of it. We all just post here about our days and what's going on, and today I'm going to Symphony Space and it happens to be the highlight of my day.

Anyway, depending on when Sherie leaves and if it's temporary or not, lots of ppl are pushing for Julia Murney to replace her as Christine. Any thoughts? (see nothing to do w/ Rent)

Thank goodness, because I've heard that when you read a few posts about things you don't happen to like your eyes actually melt...

I'd love to see Murney as Christine, although in a fairer world she should now get to originate a role on Broadway in a non-flop...

Haha Cat.

Yeah, I've seen Murney in a couple of concerts and her voice really blew me away, I'd love to see her on bway. Plus, it was kinda funny, I was hanging w/ someone there who was friends of a friend of hers and the friend met her there and Julia thought I was her friend's friend too, it was confusing lol. But she was really sweet.

And , I get up 8:15, run late as usual, spend 25 minutes looking for parking to walk into class to have my teacher tell me take this ditto, hand in essay and have a good holiday. Could have slept an hour and a half later on Rent day, ulgh.

and yeah annie, there will be no show. But I have most songs from cast recordings that can go on the show for next week.
