I am here Sarah!
What do you want me to say? I am a little happier that I will see John one week more, and I am totally depressed by this whole Pryce news. I wish everyone just stopped talking about it...even that damn newspapers.
Ok, I am back to normal
I've had a hard working day but I like it, so it's only the travelling that makes me tired...yeah, the whole 40 minutes
Amanda - it's great that you are able to go to the January 15th's show because you know what I need: review, review, review.
Patronus--rotfl, thanks for reminding me about Sbarros and the singer. That certainly was interesting...and like I said great to meet you too!
Yes, the seats at the Imperial don't exactly provide the best leg room, though I find it's actually a bit better in the front where you can stretch your legs out under the black sheet than to have a seat in front of you. Nevertheless, they're still pretty tight, and I'm sorry.
Glad you enjoyed Norbert, his energy was top-notch though I did wonder if he was having a bit of vocal problems, as he took a lot of low notes(certainly not complaining) and later it was confirmed that somehow or another the entire company of the show is either a tad sick or feeling under the weather and needs rest, etc. But still a wonderful performance.
And I have to disagree w/ you about Jolene, I do think you would have appreciated it more seeing Sara in the role. She really embodies it and has her own particular squeal I love and dances magnificently, doing some more complicated dance steps and kicks up to the wazoo. Just my opinion, but it could really just be the character. Anyway, of course the company is wonderful!
And dreadful performance of Rent eh? Did you mention it in the Norbert thread, or send me a PM, interested to hear about it.
Mamie - here's that pic I used for my avatar. You really can't see Greg all that well, which is slighty disappointing. I wish there were more DRS pics out there. I seemed to have found most or all of the decent ones.
And a couple more things...
Annie, I got the package today, will PM you w/ more details and thank yous but I'm really excited!! Stupid school for giving me work that it may take me a while to have the time to watch wonderful stuff...I still haven't gotten my tape but will let you know as soon as I do and am working on other things to put in a package for you. Of course I will review the 15th! Anyway, thank you thank you!!
Mamie..I see where you're coming from, I mean the main board has gone a bit overboard...but well w/ me especially you hafta understand I found this board when I heard about the movie and at least me and others have really followed this movie's "journey" as we put it, and feel a connection w/ it. That being said, i'm sure I could find something to say about DRS in any of my posts, and I certainly have other threads to seriously post about but one thing I love doing in this thread is having a place where I can tell my personal stories--I met this person, took a pic, chatted about, etc. Really can't write that on the main board not appropriate and I mean any other thread ppl may be like that's nice but I don't really care b/c you all are my friends and yeah. So tomorrow night(under 19 hours eeee!!) I am going to the Q&A screening so I hope you will at least excuse me then for writing a long post about that, I am very very excited. Perhaps we could bump the know side discussion Greg thread for you if you like?
::when thinking about screening tomorrow, squeals like Jolene::

wow, it took only 6days. the post service is fast here too.
Bumped from the precipice of Page 2...
5 painful hours of essay writing left...(thats the conservative estimate)...Followed by 5 days of Holiday frolicking!
Hmm given my ADD Cat, 5 hours is prob a little less than mine. Course than I hafta study for a psych test, but after about 1 tomorrow, I'm free!
Fortunately I think this one is more interesting...i have to say whether our culture is more Apllonian(ideal, rational) or Dionyional(emotional, real, sorta intoxicated). After careful deliberation of 5 seconds, I know right away it is more Dionyional, so I'm gonna describe my own story and in general how we're taught how ideal the world is when we're children but then how all our notions are quickly stripped from us, comparing popular "reality" TV shows to ideal shows like Full House and the difference in popularity currently and the excessive use of alcohol and drugs, since it supposedly is like being intoxicated. Much better than last week's essay.
Thanks Patronus for posting. I am glad we had such a nice time. Good luck with the Rent movie you guys. I am seeing it next Monday and hopefully (if you want Amanda but you are going to be away?) I will see the show itself this weekend (Though what was bad about it?). It should be great fun.
Oh and DRS forever lol
Just saying hey.. I'm actually in my dorm not busy for once.. anyone around?
1&1/2 pages down and only 5&1/2 pages to go...
The depiction of romance in World war 1 literature...whether love can truly exist during the bloody times of war, and more importantly whether it can stay?...comparing "A Farewell to Arms" by Hemmingway and "The Return of the Soldier" by Rebecca West<---loverly book btw...

yay, i just realized that after tomorrow i have wed & thurs off! whooo. i don't celebrate any holidays, but i'm very thankful for the day off work with pay and being able to watch the B'way performances in the Macy's parade!! i'm totally psyched for Sweet Charity, 'cause "I'm a Brass Band" is my fav. song from the musical.
has anyone seen Jersey Boys? I'm kinda curious about it. seems like it could be cool.
and since i'll have 2 days off together, i'm DETERMINED to get Greg's package ready for the post office. i'll send the other stuff later. it's retarded to leave it sitting here.
and i applaud Annie for getting a good night's rest! she's all responsible with her job now.
4 pages down and 3 to go...*seizures*
Oh Blue, thats not too bad. My first book was 250 pages on MS Word -Font 10 - (394 pages in book form) and that took me three months. The second one ended up at 350 pages on MS (500+ in book form - I will know soon) and took me six. My current book is up to 160 pages on MS but now I have to go back because I had a sudden revelation about plot points and I need to change tons ; ; But, you can do it! Though I cannot believe I can still use my hands lol

but it's such a good movie. it leaves me exhausted from crying so much, though. i feel your pain, Kerrie.
Well I was about right, but once again slightly underestimated my ADD skills. Still gotta write 2-3 more paragraphs, I really gotta learn to cut things down, it would help me not spend so much time on HW. And still gotta study for psych
But I would like to take this moment to add an....
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
My first book is Green Soul: Book One of the Last Eden Saga. Its a mix of fantasy, science fiction, and spirituality. If you would like to order a copy, I will have my website up soon and I can assure you a great copy. Kudos to my wonderful editor who sent out my first batch with numerous spelling errors (even Greg's copy has mispellings). I should have the corrected copies in two weeks or so to sell.
