You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

Amanda -
I guess I never got as emotionally involved in it as you and that's probably because you were their age (or close to it) while I was .... Buffy's mother! The series of episodes covering her death left me sobbing. Only one individual episode really broke my heart and that was when Xander left Anya at the altar. I wanted to kill him! (and I'd always liked him in the past).

My favorite program out of the whole series actually came during the Riley time - and that was "Hush". Absolutely BRILLIANT!

Ryan--

I just sent that pic to my sister to cheer her up. She's been dealing with some emotional stuff (ahhh, teenage drama) and I told her to find one thing each day that makes her happy. I've been helping her out with this:
Day 1: a link to the Disney site for John Tartaglia's show
Day 2: a link to GBS on NLBOnline
Day 3: Norbert in a swimming pool

Who couldn't find a little happiness in those things?

Yeah, I think he's smoking. I don't love smoking, but on him I don't mind!

Oh that's understandable I suppose Mamie. It was such an appropriate age for me, as many ppl will say the show helped them get through Jr. High/High School. Of course I sobbed during "The Body" such a sad, genius, real episode...every scene took up one act and moved in real time, and all the emotions you feel when dealing w/ death are shown for a character...Shock(Buffy), Denial(Dawn), Anger(Xander), Confusion(Anya), Hysteria(Willow) and trying to keep calm(Tara).

How wonderful was the musical episode?

And though I hate Riley and his part in it, of course "Hush" is one of the best episodes. Nominated for an Emmy in writing, shame it didn't win. The idea that everyone communicated better when they couldn't speak is a genius idea, and the eerie music that played and the scene with Giles' slide show is hilarious! (Buffy getting pissed at him drawing her too fat..)

And I totally agree about the acting. It's such a shame, between the fact of the show title and the fact that it was on the WB, it was robbed of lots of awards, for both shows and acting. Everything Sarah had to portray on that show--very much suffering, Angel problems, fighting, always having the will to go on no matter how hard times get. And Willow's acting when she went bad...and everyone was just so warm.

The 6th Season actually got pretty dark for me, I never saw the episode where Spike "raped" Buffy or when Xander ditched Anya. I usually liked Xander, except when he didn't tell Buffy that they were trying to curse Angel. And then the genius of Buffy's continuity, that didn't come to Buffy's knowledge until the beginning of the 7th season. Such a great show.

Yes Dre I do like Manoel, great actor, but he plays clarinet a little. Diana DeMarzo(sp? I'm thinking of Digarmo and she's messing me up...), plays clarinet the whole time, I love her, she's AMAZING.

There's a picture of Norbert swimming with who I assume is his daughter. They're way in the background, and his Tony is in the foreground. It's on NLB online. Here's the link:

Orginal Liz found it actually. Will Chase (it's his house) explained to me that his wife took the pic and put it on her website. Someone found it on the web and then our inquistive Liz found it and sent it to me. Its a funny pic.
