ok heres a contest for everyone...
i'm having a REALLY bad day. it was going fine, and then i talked to my father, and then i talked to my mom...
so i had gotten dressed to get ready to go out, and now i'm back in my pajamas in my bed.
i've been crying for the past...2 hours. anyone got anything to cheer me up?

Well, I kinda feel like I am walking into a group of strangers, as you all are on a real first name basis with each other...

Anyway, I saw DRS this afternoon. Greg was great as always, and I enjoyed J Pryce very much. Norbert was out, Joe Cassidy was in for him, and Joanna Gleason was out, Laura Marie Duncan went on for her. They all did a wonderful job, though it was the first time I had seen Pryce, Cassidy, and Duncan go on and was very different from what I am used to. And a lot of lines were changed for Pryce, which threw me off a tad. Still great, this was my 9th time seeing the show.

9 times! I'm so jealous! (God willing) I'll see it tomorrow for the 2 1/2 time. (The first time I only saw act 1) I hope and pray Joanna and Norbert are in it tomorrow.

and Mamie---how come only the first act??

eh..just family stuff. my parents are divorced and don't talk to each other, so everything has to go through me which is super stressful. a lof of it has to do with school and auditions and me buying a car and my spring break...the list goes on. it just stresses me out tons. stupid family.

Oh - I'm so sorry! Life's tough enough without having to go through that. It's so incredibly selfish when a child gets pulled apart like that. You feel like no matter what you do, it's going to be wrong to somebody. All you can do is look out for yourself and trust that it will get better someday. (I know - that's easy for me to say.)

I only saw Act 1 the first time because of a throbbing leg. I broke my leg at the end of March (on Easter Sunday) and I saw DRS on 6/1. You know they don't give you a whole lot of leg room between those rows and my leg started hurting before the show even started. I managed to make it to the intermission and I had to leave. I was almost in tears - but it was from pain! I missed Greg and Joanna's big scene so I was really looking forward to seeing it when I visited him in his dressing room!

Another hug for Ali. And I finally get to meet Mamie tomorrow! Very exciting.
