No, my definition of normal is crazy theater obsessed greg cam fan girl.
Bam.
Ohhh ok then. That sounds fairly accurate then.
Mary has been in my sig all along.. since before she joined, even! You're just blind......
Man...Kerrie you're cruisin for some scorn.
Selena just got shot. I need a moment to cry over a movie I've seen a million times!
And Mary you have bypassed the shark rule to get into GFU by becoming a part of all 3 Greg Cam's signatures. A feat never before accomplished.
I now dub you an imaginary member of the imaginary club GFU!
I feel so honored.
*Cries of joy*
Do I get a tiara or something?

Okay kiddies, as Rafiki says IT IS TIME.
A lot of last night had to do w/ my interactive night, so please forgive me, I usually don't mention every single wave/hug I get, don't see the need for it(Okay unless Adam Pascal kisses my cheek, but c'mon, who could blame me for being excited over that??), but it all played a major part in the show last night so I hope you all can forgive me for my indulgences
So I had to drop off something w/ the Grinch at the stagedoor(who's not THAT Grinchy to me when others aren't around), but I had to leave a note w/ it, and made him get me a pad and pen(Him: Geez, what else are you gonna ask for? Me: Umm, you can get me a necklace if you want). So while I was writing my note...almost bumped into Norbert again(me must be wondering who the f*** I am, I never say anything b/c it happens fast and I just don't wanna bother him), and then Laura came by and I asked her if she was gonna be Muriel, and she said noo, and I was really sad, she didn't realize I had only seen her as Christine and not as Muriel, I told her she should make sure she goes on for Joanna one day especially for me As I was finishing the note one of the crew ppl pass by and say "Jonathan's out, he's very sick." Me: Noooooo. Ulgh.
So I finish my note and walk out of the stage door to see Joe, who laughed at the fact that I was coming out of the stage door, told him I was seeing the show tonight, he said ohh great but ohh, I don't know if Jonathan's in...I was like he's not...I'm sad...you know, YOU should go on for Lawrence! He said he doesn't really think that's gonna happen...oh well.
Okay, so my seat was front row mezz, dead center. This IMO is the best view possible of the show, you feel close, but you clearly see the whole picture, and like the lighting changes for the More We Dance and such, very glad I sat there. Also to my surprise, it's a very easy place for the actors to see you, as I guess when I'm closer in the orch they hafta look down to see me, and during the show they prob look a bit more up at the audience then down.
So yeah it prob didn't make much sense for Dre to say I was upset b/c of this, this, but it was funnest time I had at the show. Well, Rachel aside, the show was almost secondary last night, b/c I was having my own show! During "Give Them What They Want" I thought Greg looked at me and smiled, but it's one of those ohh I'm never really sure, I'm good at imagining those things.
Oh, then during GBS, I never realized Laura and Dennis were right next to each other on the stairs at one point, they were in eye level and they both smiled at me(kinda nodded, so again, knew that was for me, not imagning). Oh, not so important but just something amusing, was the first time I got this viewpoint. Near the end of the song, before they form the circle around Norbert, when they're dancing with the mirrors, you could see Greg perfectly between the mirrors, staring out and pouting. And I dunno, it was just soo funny b/c here's everyone else smiling and dancing and there he is pouting, plus his face fit perfectly between the two mirrors so...I dunno, maybe you had to be there.
Then there were things I started doing that I wasn't sure they were picking up on...after Oklahoma, when Greg's covering his eyes w/ his hands, I cover my eyes w/ my hands, but kept moving my fingers as if to play peek-a-boo. I think I could see his other eye, so that I think he could see, but I can't be sure. Whether or not he saw me, I was having fun!
Which leads to I think the best part of the whole night. Now, for one scene Greg's kind of standing aside, not the focus, and once or twice in the past, we've caught each other's eye and I make faces and he raises his eyebrows at me, so I knew that was a part to like keep my eye on him. So of course we start doing it again, though I started doing funny things w/ my eyebrows b/c that's all he could really do on the stage, he's still visible and in character, and he was doing more random stuff w/ his eyebrows than usual, but then I switch to the faces, I start making a fishy face, and I scrunch up my lips and then...it was just soo completely unexpected b/c he's friggin on the stage, he kinda quickly lunges his face in my direction...and copies the face I was making!! He scrunched up his lips! I could not believe he did that on the stage, sure most ppl prob weren't looking at him, but still it's prob very random for Andre to suddenly be scrunching his lips and squinting his eyes all of a sudden...so just between the complete unexpectedness of it, and of course his face was funny, I really burst out laughing, as quietly as possible, since the scene was basically quiet. I cover my mouth and make little noises and then he watched me laugh for a couple of seconds till he had to get involved with the scene. Again, I'm really not sure how much of this is you-have-to-be-there, but I mean I dunno...just the idea of an actor on stage surprising you by making a face at you...it was just soo funny. I think it actually made my night.
Let's see(if you haven't noticed I'm talking about my interactive show before dwelling on the actual show). Oh, then I made faces at him when he was behind the plant. No clue, if he saw them, b/c I couldn't see him at all, but I'd kinda switch from watching the scene, to suddenly setting up a face and staring at the plant. But I gotta say considering I couldn't see him at all, it feels really weird and awkward to be making faces at a plant...
And umm...I think that was it for my show the first act. Not quite so eventful for me the second act, more I'm not positives. But as the stage turns after Like Zis Like Zat, does anyone else notice that Greg constantly raises his eyebrows up and down? I noticed b/c well the first time I noticed it I thought he was doing that at me, till he came out of the stage door and said wow, I didn't know you were here...then I realized he does it every performance. So as he was getting ready to turn, I kept raising my eyebrows up and down. Again, not something I'm sure he saw, I wonder if he even realizes he does that...
More things I did that were fun just to do and pretending ppl saw me, when the doors opened for Love Is Your Legs, I had a clear view of Laura and some others, so I was just in that kind of mood and raised my hand w/ them as they raised their candles and blew my "candle" out as they blew theirs out.
Oh, then Dennis went blank on Love Sneaks In. Not as much silence as DRN, prob 10 seconds and then came back, w/ the pit's health....but still...it was Rachel's first night and she didn't forget anything...I've never seen...ulgh, don't get me started. I mean LSI is such a sweet song, for that to blank in like the second verse...ulgh. Figured I'd throw this bad part w/ all the good stories.
Okay, think was it for "my" show until Curtain Call, but it was so funny like I said Rachel aside, I paid more attention to my own antics, and so many times people would laugh and I'd be like oh yeah they just said a funny line, hahaha.
Oh and someone behind me loudly booed the Bush line. How upsetting.
Pretty good audience BTW, loved Norbert, he got lots of applause at the beginning. I of course did solo clapping for Greg, quieter clapping for Laura, and even only 2 ppl clapped w/ me for Rachel.
Okay, so then curtain call, which is now one of my favorite parts of the show. Fortunately, I was in the aisle seat so didn't have to deal w/ anyone not being able to see when I stood, as soon as I stood I stood in the aisle, so I wasn't blocking anyone's view. Of course I was alone standing, but I'm used to that. Let's see, I have like a curtain call checklist in my head lol...Joe smiled at me, and when Dennis stepped up he smiled and mouthed a big "Hey" to me, (Rachelle was out BTW, that upset me too). Then Greg bowed and I don't remember thinking he ignored me, but I guess he must have b/c you guys know right before the 3 leads come out they cross over the stage? Well as he's crossing he looks up, sees me, and I can't describe exactly what he did w/ his face, just I pretty much got the message "Oh yeah, I forgot you were here, hey!" LOL.
So finally some people joined me in standing, I gave big applause to Rachel and Norbert, and did not clap at all for Dennis. So then the cast took their full bow, and in my head checklist, I got acknowledgement from everyone but Laura. She's all the way on the end to my left, so I was looking to her, and then you guys know how lotsa times casts wave to the audience as the bow ends? Well she was waving in my direction, I couldn't decide if it was at me or not, but I waved back anyway, and then I saw her find me and nod and smile and wave harder(guess she wasn't waving at me in the first place...oops) and to end the night, she blew me a kiss as the curtain went down! (As soon as she came out of the stage door, the first thing she asked me was did I catch that, I said of course!)
And umm...oh yeah then I embarassed myself in front of Rachel, told her how great she was, I came tonight for her then said something like "yeah, I was the idiot who was the only one applauding your entrance." That was real smooth. I called myself an idiot to her. God, guys I'm a real idiot for doing that. Oh well.
I guess I'll post this w/ a To Be Continued...might as well talk about the actual show now I suppose...ha, and you guys were expecting this whole thing to me about the actual show...heh heh heh heh!
