Sorry to be late to the party--just watched my TiVod "Runway" last night.
Daniel IS sweetly anxious, and I'm glad to have him back--his recycled design was really elegant. If he will stop bowing and scraping (and I think he will) I'll be glad to have him around.
I didn't like Santino's baby-doll dress, although I appreciate the effort and craft that went into it. Same for his second design--not my style at all, but impressive. I cannot stand his personality, but in truth, it's not a personality contest. Clearly, they are editing him to be hateful.
I love Andrae--I even liked his breakdown. His eyes are so expressive and his method of expression so sincere.
Zulema is a total b**ch, and her response for her heinous ass-revealing dress ("I did the best I could with what I was given") should have gotten her kicked off. I wonder if they'll keep her around for racial balance; I'm surprised that there is only one African-American designer to start with.
Also loving Nick and Raymundo.
Glad that we don't have to sit through the choose-your-model drama every week--huge improvement.
It seemed that we were getting more of the judge's discussions--huge improvement too. And I don't know why, but Nina Garcia is more appealing to me this year--maybe because we're getting more insight to her thought process.
But enough about all that jazz--on to the real business of the show--Tim Gunn. *swoons* Oh my God, I am so in love with Tim Gunn. And he's so much more styling this year, with the all-black ensemble and the four-button suits. He is so dreamy....
