I'm sure Michael will be back.
Explain to me, what happened to Malan's model from last week (the one who wore the gown)? When it came time to choose either the winning or losing model from the week before, Heidi mentioned that it was Malan's first model. I'm totally confused.
I'm really curious to see who is kicked off the show next week. I hope it's not Robert. Though I really don't like Keith as a person, his designs are gorgeous and he really was a fool for not designing an outfit for the dog.
Where is Jane2? She hasn't commented about last night's show.

Regarding the Kayne-Laura thingy... I just read an interview the other day where Kayne mentioned his relationships with some of the other contestants, and he said he had "difficulty" with Laura. So when I watched last night and heard her comment, I thought, uh-oh. (Of course, she may have been giving as good as she gets, LOL.)

I have to check their website and see if Tim's blog is up yet.

I love Uli, but the blonde should've wont. I was flabbergasted they liked the guy with the beard's outfit so well. I hated it, but was surprised that he had anything going down the runway.
This cast is nowhere near as good as last season's.

Doodle, I like the designs of this year's contestants (with the exception of Angela).
I'm listening to Tim's pod cast right now, and his disdain for Angela is very obvious.

I missed it. What did Laura say to/about Kayne?

I hated her the minute she started hounding Kayne to team up with her instead of designing a freaking dress! I loved the look on Miss USAs face when she said she didnt do sketches.

Iflit, I don't exactly remember, but it sounded like it was all in jest. Bravo usually re-airs the episodes frequently and I think it will be on again tonight at 9pm. I usually watch a second time, just to get a better look at the outfits that are being designed.

I didn't understand how Bradley's poofy outfit got such a positive response, either. Then again, I didn't understand why everyone loved Daniel's poofy outfit (inspired by a flower in Michael Kors' reception area) either.

Dottie, leave it to you to rewatch this show
Laura said something while they were leaving Mood about his fabric being wild. She said something like, "you can use that kind of fabric, but I'm too sophisticated."

I could have DIED when Katherine got cut. I mean, yes, her dress was TOTALLY last-season Express, but still...
However, what we all need to bear in mind is that this IS a reality show, and it has been cast very specifically...Angela is by FAR the worst designer on the show and does not deserve to be there in that respect, BUT she fills a very specific role, and they can't get rid of her until they absolutely HAVE to, because right now, she is the focus of EVERYONE's distaste/dislike/ire, and they (the producers) like/want/need it that way.
That said, I want to have Robert's baby. LOOK at that man's biceps! (Even if he IS a BIG OL' GIRL, he's still cute.)

Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you.
Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

The interaction between Robert and Kayne just cracks me up.
JYG, you make a valid point about the "characters" on the show. That said, I will say, Vincent annoys the hell out of me.

I absolutely agree. His whining actually makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I cannot STAND the way he phrases everything in that soft-voiced, poor-me victim timbre...he is SUCH a wet noodle.
"It was the nightmare of my life"...I mean, did you not just want to take a carpet needle and thread his EYEBALL???

If you listen to Tim Gunn's podcast, 2 weeks in a row, he has accidentally called Angela "Alison", especially annoying this week because Alison's poodle design was amazing and Angela's ill-conceived bubble slirt ensemble was almost kicked off...
Tim...stop it!Alison good/Angela bad.
My faves so far are Ulli, Michael & Laura!

Eve, I noticed that too, but by the end of the podcast he finally got them right!
Doodle, Project Runway is one of the few shows I actually look forward to, so of course I'm going to watch the episodes more than once! (LOL)

I KNOW...Vincent did it, too!
I mean, come ON, people: Alison = stunning, sweet, super designer; Angela = drab, abrasive, irritating, my dead grandma sews better.
Alison and Angela might be alliterative, but it's not THAT HARD, guys!
Like she said: Alison, good/Angela, VERY VERY BAD.

Jailyard, I know you're right about Angela. She's the Marla of this season! But it still bothered me to see Katharine cut. That little green hoodie for the dog was awesome, and there was nothing really wrong with her dress (while Andrea's was an abomination). If she had just whipped up a little capelet or something, it may have saved her.

I'm inclined to agree with you. However, I don't think that the producers thought she could provide enough interpersonal drama. She genuinely wanted to learn, to do good work, to be a great designer, and not to get involved in anybody's negativity...while that all spells out a WONDERFUL and lengthy career ahead of her, it makes for DREADFULLY dull television.

Well, if that is the case, I have a feeling Keith will be on for a while. Although his designs are beautiful, he has the potential of bringing nastiness to a new level. His "bad mommie" comment about Laura was, I don't know, kind of silly. Then again, he could be the one kicked off of the show next week.

She was the Diana of this season....but duller.
