He said somewhere those designs were research for up and coming trends, not his own personal designs.
Spoiler: I was holding my breath so hard hoping Bonnie would go home, shame because I liked her.
I was so upset tonight... my power was gone for 6 hours and didn't come back til 11:30... thank god they reair it at 12...

SPOILER....
I actually thought Angela's outfit was pretty good. I am just wondering whether it was her or the two designers she choose to help her. She was actually more open to ideas than the others, and actually worked in a collaborative manner.
And, no one got immunity tonight - or, did Angela get it by default and we just did not see????
BTW - Keith was an arrogant A$$ - glad to seem him go.

I really like Angela/s outfir, but I think she was helped because hse chose two really talented designer who work well together to help her.I think if she hadn't chosen them, the outfit would not look nearly as good.
Glad to see Keith go. He was talented but ver annoying as a person.

He was my first guess as to who it could be but I honestly didn't think the producers would allow it since he brings in so much drama. Go figure.
Was anybody else suprised at how little drama they showed? It seems to me that they made it seem a lot more intense than it really was in the previews. I know that's just so that you'll watch but I really thought they down played it more than what I would've thought they would.

I was wondering whether the fact that Alison and Jeffrey's outfit was designed by Keith was taken into consideration to decide the winner for tonight. I don't know if Project Runway would want to market an outfit which they would ultimately have to put Keith's name on at Macy's. I think Jeffrey and Alison were just out of luck simply because Keith messed up. Either design could have one, but I think they would rather not have Keith's name on something associated w/ the show...

Tim's blog mentioned that it is not uncommon for designers in the audition process to come in with inspiration books, and they were aware at the time that those sketches were not his.
So the question is, who got a hold of his sketches and made them available to the public?
Also, who was stealing the bobbins on the sewing machine?

Sorry for causing a mess. And I didn't mean "Let's wait until 1AM."
Anyway, tonight's episode was pretty boring and I don't think the whole "you're out" scene was that dramatic.
It definetly wasn't the episode "everyone's been talking about".

I agree, though I wasn't bowled over by the design anyway (even though it was executed very nicely). What was with the sleeves on the bottom? Was it supposed to be a dress that turned into a shirt or something? I forget how the welfare, elfin version of Jude Law (Keith) described it earlier. I hated this snoozefest of a challenge.
I can't stand Angela, so I was annoyed that she won. But I hated Jeffrey's reaction even more. "Can we leave now?" Big, whiny tattooed baby. He is 36, not six! What awful sportsmanship.
I wonder why Banana Republic jumped ship after two seasons of sponsorship. Macy's INC label is a little downmarket, isn't it?

I was wondering if Nana Pub will have a challenge too, but guess not. INC isn't the first thing I shopped for at Macy's anyway.
(If you're wondering, it was Ben Sherman or Fred Perry.)

I don't think Keith was a plant as someone suggested, as I don't think he ever would have won that first challenge. Though good riddance to him and his lousy attitude.
It was refreshing to see Vincent be very diplomatic about Robert's outfit even though he did not care for it from the very beginning.
Angela and those friggin rosettes. Thank goodness for Laura and her good taste as to how to use them effectively.
Next week doesn't look too good for Robert either with him saying he needs a miracle to fix his latest creation.
Can't wait for Tim's blog.

hehe, love that Zone...
tonight I watched the three episodes in a row, and all I kept thinking is what IS up with that damn neck.

That ep was such a snorefest...first of all, Keith's exit was as anticlimactic as could BE, Angela was actually LIKABLE, Vincent was a perfect gentleman (kudos to him for supporting the vision of Robert on the runway, even though it was not well-received) and I have to say that I think that we're starting to see the teeniest little tip of what could prove to be a very, VERY nasty streak from our dear Miss Kayne.
She hasn't spent years in the pageant world and not picked up a few tricks (and I don't mean the breathing kind that steal your watch in the morning)...
And...
COULD ALISON PLEASE G*DDAMN WIN SOMETHING ALREADY?!?! SHE'S BLOODY FANTASTIC.

Did I miss something about Kayne?
Yes, you're right about Alison. I wouldn't be surprised if she was one of the finalists.

Is Alison the cute little blond?
I missed the thing with Kanye. What happened?
(I was frying pickles during the end.)

Yes, Alison is the cute blonde.
I more than likely will watch the rebroadcast tonight.
I also agree, with all that build-up, Keith's departure was rather anti-climatic.

"our dear Miss Kayne"
Hee. Great Lifetime movie title. I love Kayne and think he has a lot of talent, but it looks to me like he's had wayyyyy too much facial plastic surgery. And he's only 27! His cheekbones seem very exaggerated to me.

I like her, but she looks too innocent to do anything nasty.

Michael is still my favorite. He is so awesome at construction and fitting. His models always LOOK the best in their outfits. He's sort of under the radar, now but watch out.
And I was glad to see Keith go. He was such a pompous a**. But Jeffrey is right behind him in the arrogance parade so I hope he gets taken down a few notches and soon!

I actually think that Kayne was pretty nice about the realization that he was breaking the rules. He checked with other contestants, and didnt make anyone else do the dirty work of tattling.
That's not to say he wont show byotchiness in the future.
I agree that Alison is fantastic, and she should have won last week...so I was kind of hoping she and that freak would win the challenge...but Angela's outfit was better...not good, but better.
It's not just that stupid tattoo, his neck IS freakishly puffy...how does that happen. Has the swelling not gone down yet?

Do you think it might just be an illusion? That's what I've been thinking. At first I thought it was just puffy, but maybe the design makes it look bigger?

I grew up in the South, was raised by Southern women, and most of my closest girlfriends are from the South...trrrrust me, we are going to see pure evil come out of that little blonde boy. The evil will be coated in smiles and "honeys" and "darlins", but there will be evil...
He was entirely too efficient in reporting naughty Keith and conferring with each of the other boys about the naughtiness. There were just little tiny clues all night that he is NOT the frilly nancyboy funnel-cake we all think he is...he is here to win, and I'll be a monkey's uncle at the circus if he doesn't do everything in his power to make sure he gets as close to that as possible.
That said, he's still my 2nd favorite.
