While Michael usually does really good work, his final designs are HIDEOUS. That pink thing and the tacky bathing suit looks like something right out of a Baby Phat catalogue. Hideous.
Uli's designs were nice, and so were Jeffrey's.
Laura's looked like fall/winter, and some were just too tacky looking - which is shocking, because he designs the entire show have been just the opposite.
Personally, I think it should come down to Uli and Jeffrey. I think Michael will win because he's a fan favorite, but his clothes are not up to par with Jeffrey's or Uli's. It would be nice to see Uli take it, but my vote is for Jeffrey. If he designed menswear, I'd wear it.

Kara Saun's Aviator-themed runway show was the best so far, IMO. Also loved Jay, Santino and (surprisingly!) Kara Janx's collections.

i am really afraid that it is Jeffrey, Uli and Laura...
Michael is the only designer with a non Project Runway final five model for his last garment... and last season, Kara Janx was the only designer with a non Project Runway model for her last garment... this is scaring me a little bit...

here's a link to that article...
I completely agree with their assessment...

Speaking of tacky, I went to Kayne's boutique in Norman last weekend. Kayne was in NYC, but his partner's mom was running the store and she was sweet as can be. I bought a dress (not designed by Mr. Gillaspie, but she did tell me how Kayne told her to wear it) and my friend bought a pair of earrings he designed. We looked through his old portfolios and saw some examples of his pagent gowns. Very tacky, but extremely innovative considering the field. You can only do so much with a pagent gown, and at least Kayne is willing to experiment. I plan to go back around November when the PR hype has died down.

My phone rings at 9:59 and change last night. It's my DAD. The conversation goes something like this:
Dad: Peach, honey what's the deal with Project Runway? We turned it on, and they are showing last year's episodes. With that fellow Santiago. Errrmmm...your mother wants to know. That's the ony reason I'm calling.
Me: Hey Dad. Tonight's a rerun. Next week will be a new episode. If it's Mom that wants to know, why are you making calls for her? Are you her sescretary now? (jokingly)
Dad: Oh, well, you know. Your mother jsut wanted to know, not me, you know. She's making up an ice cream right now, so I thought I'd call for her.
Ha! I busted my Dad. I knew my mother watched it, but it seems she's gotten him him hooked too.
ETA: I'm not even sure my Dad what he was talking about. Did they air last season's episodes last night?

heidi, before the season started, said in an interview that there would be a villain on the show... but i really don't know who she was referring to... i think there are five possiblities: Keith, Jeffrey, Laura, Angela and Vincent... any thoughts?
