I wonder if, since the television appearance financial constraints wouldn't hold true for something like Stars in the Alley, they wouldn't take the opportunity to give some of the other cast members a little bit of exposure.

yeah - it would be great if they could do Have I Got a Girl For You and give the guys a little spotlight

have you guys seen the vid of Raul backstage at the Drama Desks? I wish I could have seen Carol Burnett play Joanne

The morning star always gets wonderful bright the minute before it has to go --doesn't it?

It is a tremedous relief to find a picture of Raul in the news again - this time (Monday night again) at the Theatre Wing gala. Very nice tux! My seal of approval.

ETA: The photographer was having a great time positioning the logo in these photos. It ends up looking like angel wings or, in Raul's case, a party hat!

And hopefully we can all sleep better because of this news... lol.

I'm off to go find the pictures!
Call the understudy / I can't go on tonight / I'm drinking with my buddy / I'm getting good and tight / Before they raise the curtain I'll be higher than a kite / So call the understudy I can't go on tonight

If that's your reaction after barely a week in between public appearances (nevermind that he's in a show 8 times a week and has to, I dunno, sleep once and awhile), it'll be difficult to survive when Company closes, he's not doing anything and there are months in between events.

Sleep is good. Not having been to bed pre-3:30 in I don't KNOW how long, I attest to the wonder of sleep.

I miss sleep.

I suppose I should get in the spirit and put up a Raul/Company avatar soon.

But I love Colbert too much.

I think it's also his willingness to be silly. And he's so CONFIDENT in his silliness, that you're just like "man, that's adorable." He's a good-looking guy, but it's so not that. And he's smart. AND HE CAN DANCE.

I need to get some sleep. Alas, I have to deal with my broken internet eventually, but not until hauling downtown for the second time today to sit through a meeting that I'm really not in the mood to go to. I'm praying it's short. Because then I have to come home and write a paper.

I actually love the look of a well-fitted tuxedo. I bet Colbert has one, too.

Orange - I forgot to put up a sarcasm alert on that Raul sighting posting.

And em - finish that paper and get some sleep. Tomorrow is your independence day!

I am watching the debates tonight, looking out for a small remnant of truthiness.

Raul does look lovely in that tux.
I wonder who he's bringing to the Tonys.
