Raul's arm, at least, looks really skinny.
I'm sorry, but Sondheim is just adorable in that video.
I'm SO glad Kristin's stories are going to continue. I love them.
I thought they changed the rush policy? But yay! Have fun.
I thought so too, but I'm not complaining.
I don't see why people from the NY metro area are developing worst case scenarios for their half-hour commute to the theatre. sweetestsiren is taking a 9-hour bus ride from southern Virginia. I think she is one of the only people that has legitimate reason to worry and the rest of you all should get a f*cking grip.
Eleven and a half, actually, with two transfers. But I'm hoping for the best. I'd just like to get THERE in one piece, so anything that goes wrong can happen on the way back. I'd like to think that everyone, regardless of location, won't run into any problems.
I've noticed that Raul looks like he's lost weight, too. You can see it particularly around his face.

I never claimed it was legitimate... :-P
I do give you credit for the long trip. That I probably wouldn't do.
Sweetestsiren - I will be pulling for your trip to go smoothly.
But, in truth, I have traveled MetroNorth from Connecticut into NYC for more than 25 years and there are enough times that they give us reason to worry, too!
Yes, but if you're only traveling a short distance, you also have the option of trains every hour, or more often. If you're that worried, leave earlier. And if it's just hysteria for the sake of show, stop, because it's ridiculous and unneeded.
Hey, orange - check the battery on your sense of humor - I think it's dead.
Did anyone go tonight?

Hey, has anyone here seen the new Forbidden Broadway? I just saw it tonight. They do a hilarious parody of Company and of Raul. The guy who plays Raul actually manages to sound a lot like him!
yeah it is hysterical...James Donegan, who plays Raul, was actually in a regional production of Company as Robert..
I have a sense of humor. Nothing you said was funny, just stupid. Much like the other day when you were more concerned about the electricity in the theatres than the people stuck underground on the subway in 95 degree weather.
Cape Twirl of Doom, it was discussed on page 40 of this thread. There was also a link to photo coverage of the Company cast visiting.

Ah thanks for that link. This thread is so long I don't know what was discussed before.
I went tonight, it was beautiful. I suspect I'll be something of a basketcase on Sunday. It hit me in the end that I'll only see it once more, ever, and I'm really sad.

My trip was longer, therefore invalidates your complaints, and I win.
Kidding. I know, nothing I said was funny.
It was funny on Tuesday night when Raul created a moment of dead impenetrable silence with his occasionally frightening intensity. Someone asks Cary Shields if Taboo was any good. Cary jokingly responds "there were a few weak links..." and Raul, who I didn't even know had been listening, says "I WAS A WEAK LINK" with complete and utter conviction.
Heh, I heard about that from siamese dream. It makes a bit more sense that Cary Shields just stagedoored Company. That doesn't seem like his kind of show. Too...intelligent.
And yes. Anyone traveling from outside the tri-state area had reason to worry; it's everyone else that needs to shut up.
Heh, that whole scenario made me laugh.

Heh, fair enough.
Yes. Cary Shields signed my mom's Company playbill, too. "Cary Shields as April". Maybe he's smarter than he looks, though. At least he chose the character with the correct level of intelligence.
I know I'd love to see Raul seducing Cary Shields on top of a piano.
I'll drink to that. :)

The good news is that Cary Shields seemed receptive to the idea when it was mentioned.
Receptive. Hee.

wait - Craww, what happened on Tuesday night with Cary Shields?
just walked by the theatre to get my tickets for tomorrow and got there right in the middle of "Being Alive" I was so tempted to go in lol.
As Em said, last night was truly beautiful. He was wearing the same shirt as in your picture, Elphie. When he came out, someone near me said, "wow, he looks like he just fell out of an Abercrombie!"
Anyway. Best of luck to everyone commuting any great distance for Sunday.
