Hee, I'm very well behaved.

I'm speechless about this whole thing. Hearing him talk about Roald Dahl last night was good enough, but now Our Town? I'm just glad this is relatively close, because if it required an airplane trip I'd be in debt somethin awful
How much is a train/bus to Williamstown? I can't even find anything on how to get there online...
If it isn't too expensive, I think I'm gunna go.
Sigh....all you lucky people who can get to Williamstown.... Living in LA sucks.
The bus from NYC is forty bucks each way. I couldn't justify that, so we're driving.

Ouch, that's a lot. I guess I'll have to talk to my friends about driving too. If not, oh well I guess.
I'm not actually doing the driving -- I miss driving, though!! -- but I've never been on a roadtrip with friends. This is so beyond cliched, but I feel like there's something liberating about hopping in a car and going somewhere really far away. I'm excited. The Berkshires are supposed to be GORGEOUS.

Antiandrew, are you in NY? $40 really isn't a lot considering a tank of gas, for me, is usually between $35 and $37, you know?
It's $80 round-trip, though, which is a lot. :/ At least with a car, you can split the cost of gas.

Oh yeah, definitely. I'm not complaining, I just want ppl to go, hehe. Also, if you take into consideration that tickets are, what, $5, you're saving money there too.
btw, I love that this summer is shaping up to be a string of such great theater stuff. Gypsy, Rent, and now this little rendezvous.

I know! Not to mention The Return.
Yeah, I'm in NYC. If it was a $40 round trip ticket then I would probably consider it, but I just can't justify spending $80 just to get there.
My friend actually agreed to drive up there, and I think it'll be fun to have a little road trip. I took one awhile back to see Idina in Provincetown and it was actually really fun. I'm excited :)
Ooh, I really wanted to go to that Provincetown gig. The last time I drove anywhere for a performance was to see Adam in South Jersey, but it was cold out. It's more fun when it's warm. We'll be nerds and blast showtunes all the way up and back.
It was an amazing gig. But the drive was almost better than the show. My friend has a convertable and it was really nice out that day so we drove with the top down and blasted showtunes all the way down. Heh, I think we rocked out to 30/90 more than anything.
damned las vegas, lol!
I don't know whether or not to inform my mother of this trip. She has no middle ground. She'll either be like "oh, have a great time!" or "he'll think you're crazy. Stop running around."
How about a nice mix "he'll think you are crazy, but have a great time! Don't get arrested!" :)
My mom already thinks I'm nuts.
My parents usually are just like "It's nice you have a hobby, dear!"
Buzz just shakes his head at me and wonders where he went wrong with me. When he met me I was in my anti-broadway stage, so I was full rocker chick going to nothing but rock concerts. Fast forward 5 years and all my CD's in the car are show tunes.
My mom was... pretty okay with the whole Company thing. I've told this story before, but when I spoke to her on the phone the morning after the first time I saw it in NYC, she asked how it was and I started crying, telling her it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. I never get like that, so she did the best she could to accept that this was really special. My father, on the other hand, tried to tell me that I wasn't allowed to go anymore. But with this, my mom will probably be like "okay, enough."
