Part 3??? You ladies have been busy! I offer a late Congrats!
Great points orangeskittles (sorry, I don't know your name). I've never had a bad experience with Raul but I agree with most of what you said.
OMG, you mean he is a human being! I'm so disappointed! :p

You can take your wife to all the events in the world, but a picture is worth a thousand words:
HEE. Best accompanying visual ever.
I giggled through the video, but it was a mixture of "oh god, that's so awkward!" and being excited to see him practically giddy. I wish it had been a true caricature -- because he DOES have a pretty big schnoz. Undeniably. "The nose is not what I expected!" Yeah, Raul, you got off easy.

I still think Sardi's should hire Norn and go back to classic non-portraits again. Maybe some "big" star complained about the likeness.
Yeah, but I think that part of the fun should be opening yourself up to the playful teasing of caricature. If legends of yore handled it, I don't see why actors these days can't.
OMG, you mean he is a human being!
Judging from the posts you've made on this thread, you seem to believe otherwise...
I realized earlier that both Raul and Michael wouldn't have beards this time at the Tonys. I mean an actual beard, not Michele. I was just remembering those pictures of them in that hideous embroidered shirt from the swag tent last time.

ROTFL!! Oh, man.
("You want me to wear what?"")
("Can I take it off yet?")
Psst, Raul: your yellow jacket is up there with that shirt as far as fashion no-nos go. Maybe not on the same level, but..
Mustachioed Michael works it, though:

Love the captions. He certainly does look shell-shocked. Was it siamese dream or skittles who described Michael as resembling a Mexican pimp in that last one?

I think that was me (unfortunately?). orangeskittles pointed out that Michael and Adam Pascal's favorite shirt have something in common.
I love that shirt.
In all of the wrong ways. I mean, I read it more as "do you think this would look good on me?"
LOL His face is priceless in that pic, I love it.
"Distinctive Assets".
Is it JUST me, or does Michael look just about ready to start a rousing chorus of "Sexy Back"?
What's wonderful about the picture of Michael is that whereas Raul's facial expression is so questioning, Michael is just like "that's right, I'm hot."
Because Raul knows he'd look better in an Out Tonight-esque sort of number.
You know he wants those pants. What functioning human being doesn't want those pants?

I was out at a friend's house last night, and her brother showed up. He was eerily Raul-like... if Raul was a super skinny tall guy. But the eyes! And the NOSE. It was lovely.

I have been a fan of Raul's since I aw him in Cabaret, and I just wanted to pop in and spread the love!!
He is EVRYWHERE these days. I love it! Does anyone know what his next show will be? He is so talented I am sure he already has plans after Company.
I don't know how he manages - 4 shows in two days this weekend, and he still makes appearances on Monday - his "night off."
Not really a publicity appearance since they're (I believe) good friends, but there's a picture of him and Melissa Errico from her concert in BWW's photo coverage.
Good! Nice to know he can still set his own agenda occasionally!
Heh, I was just looking for something on the TDF website, and was surprised to find Raúl's headshot glaring at me from the front page. They have an interview with him. Read it here: http://tdf.org/TDF_Article.aspx?id=66&do=v
Sure, you just stumbled onto that article... You always seem to know where to find Raúl. lol
Thanks for posting the link though. I love how he always speaks of Sondheim with such reverence.
Hee, it truly was just a lucky find. i was looking to see if they had a projected time for when the Times Square TKTS booth construction would be finished.
It's nice to see him doing something other than squealing about Spring Awakening in an interview.
