I just think that he hasn't gotten the chance to do a Sondheim show in New York... Assassins got put on hold while he was involved, and later I think he was either busy or didn't think that he'd still fit in the cast. And... that's the last Sondheim revival other than Sweeney, right?

He was busy with Taboo when Assasins came back around, and his part in Assassins would've been really small.

I'm excited for everyone who's going to see Company in Ohio, and I'm hoping that it transfers - I've never seen Raul perform live, it seems like the kind of show I would enjoy, and I love Doyle's Sweeney production.
Raul's new headshot is excellent - I love how the camera captured that mesmerizing stare
