I know, and he was so sweet about it. I told him that I hadn't had a chance to see him in it, and that I was really young at the time, and he told me he heard that the recording at Lincoln Center is really great, and I told him that they probably wouldn't let me see it but he said I should try. He was also sort of baffled that I was reading it at all, which was cute. I told him I will definitley see Company tons of times and he laughed and we talked about it for a while. He was just so genuinely nice. Of course, the waitress who my family is very close with has apparently become close with him recently, and she was really cute about the whole thing as well. I'm still smiling about the whole thing.
She is going to be great. She has been working like crazy on it too. I really love her original songs, talent on top of talent there.
And that is awesome stuff about Raul, actress.
I can't wait for tommorow!!! This is going to be the first show of hers that I'm going to. Is it going to be the ususal Mano-gig crowd?

haha
You can't really be a Mano person without being a Sweeney person, so I'm a Sweeney person by default. And because I love the show.

By the Mano-gig crowd I just meant the people who were at Joe's for Mano, but most of you were at Donna's too, so i guess I just said Mano by default cause this is the Mano thread. But for the record, I am a Sweeney person.

I love that after a few hours of not talking, we posted ten seconds apart.
There are no words. Well, there are words, but ahahaha.
Heh, I love how Patti and Michael look so attentive, and Mano looks completely out of it.
aspiringactress, I just read your story about meeting Raul, and that's so, so amazing. I love that he was so interested that you were reading that play that he came up to talk to you.
I'm still smiling about it myself. It was the best possible way to meet him for the first time. :)
Um...um...I was definitely reading The Normal Heart in 3 different places in the city today...why didn't Raul come up to me?
That is an awesome way to mee him though. I'd probably keel over.
