Just wanted to say...
It was really nice to meet some of you, even though it was so chaotic. :)
Now I need to sleep. Goodnight!

...he really needed to stop while he was ahead.
And then he did it with "and wave it like you just don't care". And the last one...was very funny, though I can't remember his exact words.
...with impunity
P.S. Chica, I messaged you on MySpace.
...with impunity
No..that wasn't what I'm thinking of. It was like, the correct grammer of "wave it like you just don't care".
Hm...I swear he said something like that. Oy.

Yes! Thank you Chica.
"Put your hands in the air and wave them as if there are no repercussions"
Whaa? Why did he say that? lmao

That was cute. I can't believe everyone besides Michael and Mark had to be in hair goop, costume, and makeup just to play instruments for three minutes. But hey, it's national tv.
Patti couldn't be bothered waking up early?

I was so excited to watch Sweeney on tv this morning. It was so wonderful when they congratulated Mano on his nomination. Awwww. I too noticed Patti wasn't there...

I'm really mad that I missed Sweeney on tv. I even set my alarm to wake up to watch it and I slept throught it!
I forgot!
My mom said that Mano looked gross. =/
He didn't!
He (well...all of them) were wearing full stage makeup. So he looked very ghostly with really heavy black eye makeup. But certainly not gross!
I didn't say he looked gross! I thought he was rather smexy. And I tried to explain *why* they all looked like corpses, but yeah. *shrug*
I showed it to my mom. She was yelling at the cameraman when they were interviewing Michael at the end because only half of Mano's face made it into the shot.
I still think it was a lame song to do. They so could have done The Ballad. And I'm just not saying that because I wanted to see Mano sing, I just think that it would have been a more exciting song, and would have shown more about the show.
It was a really bizarre song to do. I understand that since Patti wasn't there they were going to put most of the focus on Michael, but it really was such a weird choice.
I can't see how anyone not familiar with the show had any idea of what was going on. The Ballad is doable, since it is the song that starts off the show. It also builds and has a climax, which is intriguing to people not familiar with Sweeney. It might have been too long, but I'm sure they could have chopped part of it out.
Pretty Women is like, 4 and half minutes, and The Balllad is 2 and a half. And Patti isn't vital in that song, they just would have needed someone to pull the sheet out.
Bleh.

They certainly did not sing four and a half minutes. I would say they sang for two...maybe.
Actually they might have interviewed Michael for longer than the time they took to perform.
