I'm glad he opted to keep his name. It's unique.
But it confuses people if they don't do their research...
While waiting in line to get in last night, I overheard the people behind us talking. They thought Manoel Felciano was some sort of Brazilian group. hehe

Yea, it's annoying when people mispronounce your name or misspell it, but that doesn't mean you have to change it!
I was with Em and Chica on the subway, and we ran into a girl who lived on my floor this past year. It turned out she was working the show (setting up, etc.) and she had to go introduce herself to Mano. The one thing she didn't feel comfortable with was pronouncing his name (at least she was aware of it and didn't want to mess it up), so we coached her.
I recognize the addiction to being alive.

Just think, if he had changed his name he would never have been able to use in the Easter Bonnet Queen parody. Mano...just killed a man...
Btw: loved seeing Sweeney on R&K today. I too am a bit baffled by the song choice. I would have loved to see "Kiss Me."

Not Mano related, but Sweeney related. Alex G. just was announced to play Valjean in the 6 month Broadway return of Les Mis. Yay!
