Ha, another reason for me to spend this year's Thanksgiving in LA!!

Great performance shot!
One of my absolute favorite songs. I would love to hear that.
Just to make it official, though they say there is no "official" casting yet, whatever.

Humbugfoto - check your pacemaker! Just kidding -
So there is a chance Raul will end up on your coast for a change!
Yeah, I'm holding off on my travel plans until we get confirmation on Raul. If that happens, then I'm vacationing in L.A. this year!
Raul is doing Broadway Backwards on February 22nd.

I totally forgot that it was already creeping up on us -- I didn't even know tickets had already gone on sale until the affordable ones were all gone. I would have liked to go regardless of Raul joining because everyone always loves it and they have a great line-up this year. Ah well. Still psyched for Miscast.

Emcee - I'm in exactly the same boat, so to speak. I thought to look for MISCAST because last year was such fun, but I will have to add this to next year's list.

Odd - he sang that at MISCAST last year! Love the Judy Garland hands (again).
I ended up going last minute thanks to a very generous friend. Was kind of bummed that he recycled, to be honest.

Love. It. I hope he considers this one of his "signature songs".
Thumbs down on the facial hair, but some good photos anyway.

I agree -- that is some bizarre facial hair! At first I actually thought it was just a trick of the light, not a real mustache. Luckily his beautiful facial expressions almost make up for it - I hope video surfaces of this performance!
Do you suppose he has the hair that way for something specific? Maybe there's some new project we haven't heard about yet (as long as it doesn't conflict with Leap!!)
I saw a few people filming pretty openly on their phones and stuff, so maybe at some point. But to be honest, it wasn't as good as when he did it at Miscast, so if it doesn't pop up you aren't really missing much since the Miscast one is on YouTube.
I would assume it's for a role since something like that is pretty deliberate, but who knows. I hope it is, and not that he thinks it's like, flattering to his face and a cool thing to try. And if so, may this experiment end by Monday night!

I second that motion, emcee! The look doesn't seem right for LEAP OF FAITH (and rehearsals for that don't begin till July) so my this just be a beard-like detour.

He's channeling Adam Pascal in American Primitive with those sideburns..
I have a confession: I miss the Twelfth Night sideburns.

Yes! He reminded me of Colin Firth as Darcy with those sideburns - and the white shirt.
Soooo Byronic! *sigh*
