I was at WHISTLE tonight. Raul was his usual incredibly adorable self, onstage and off. He got great audience reactions throughout.

I don't want to get my hopes up but yessss please please please.
Encores! used to make recordings of their shows almost all the time, and it's a shame they don't anymore. But the reasoning behind why they don't get recorded anymore is pretty complicated, so I assume it would take a lot to get this to happen. I think it SHOULD be recorded and there seem to be a lot of powerful people who feel that way, so hopefully something will work out.

Well, he is going to be in LA for a few months (although VERY busy, presumably). I'm still hoping for a GLEE guest shot - that shouldn't take long to produce.

I only recognize one of the actors in those pictures---that Gilmore Girls gal. I thought the guy in the red shirt looked familiar but then realized it was just because he looked like Audrey Tautou. Presumably it's not her.

Yep, that's Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls. And in the bottom photo, that's Marin Ireland from reasons to be pretty and Maria Dizzia from In the Next Room.
I have considered starting an official petition for Raul to be like, the hot singing history teacher on Glee. But even though he'll be in LA for a while, I think that is, sadly, extremely wishful thinking.
