For some odd reason I am amused by the fact that Raúl is not the one cross-dressing!
I am actually rather saddened by this. It's time for him to be on stage in a dress again.

Singing!
I'm curious about his Twelfth Night costume(s). Hopefully there will be something to add to the canon of signature Raul pieces.
Just because.
Maybe they'll set it in the 30's and he'll get to wear the fedora!
Take it back!
There, I don't mind it, because it is a safe distance from the head.

Yes to the black sweater, though.
And boy do I love that dressing gown - even more than the third scene floral tie in STP.
This, I believe, is and always will be my favorite Raúl costume:
You can't go wrong.
I adore you.

It's really sad that I can't remember how to make the smiley icon.
Oh, I don't know. I think this might be in the running:
Why, I'm a sack of lemons.
OMG I can't believe I forgot about that one! I take it all back. The one I posted is my SECOND favorite costume.
(Can you even call the one you posted a costume? Really.)
I do think we need some love for the like, unfortunately vibrant plaid pants.
You want plaid? I can do plaid.
For all the flak we give the show, that's actually to this day one of my favorite photos of him. It was my avatar for a really long time.
Awww, I love that picture! I miss Chitty.
I really like this look:
This one? Not so much.
And finally, who can forget this debacle/horror?
This is so much more fun than writing my French paper. WHY AM I STILL IN SCHOOL??!!

I miss the sideburns he had in Chitty, the jet black hair from Cabaret, and the ahem whole package in the sack of lemons costume.
And I loved Chitty! The sad thing is, out of all his shows, I believe I saw that one the most.
As for non costumes, I think my favorite would be the suit he recently wore to the Kander and Ebb concert. It had suspenders! :)
My goodness, those leather pants sure do....er, fit!
I think one thing we can all agree on is that Raúl must never be allowed to shave his head ever again. I prefer him with longer hair (sans hair gel, please!), and I do like him with a beard.
Although not, perhaps, the Rabbi Raúl look:
From the Tony Nominee press event. Interview Question #3: Will you prepare a speech?
"...or maybe I should. I never have before; so maybe I should write one this year...just in case. Or maybe that'll be the thing that does the trick. Um...no, I'm superstitious about that stuff. Maybe an index card with names on it."

You should know I just snorted.
And, okay, I know I do this EVERY year (well, except '07 because at that point, there was so much "certainty"), but, as much as I know it's not going to happen, I can't help hoping. And being a little excited.
Go team.
