I've recently discovered that if you put a Vitamin Water into the freezer for a couple of hours, it makes a delicious slushee.
I'm having one now.

*gives Em tea*
I bought enough looseleaf in England to supply my family for the next decade. :)
Make some hot tea, Em. Tylenol sore throat liquid tastes terrible but it really helps. Hope you feel better. :)
I will, later. I'm hiding from my parents at the present time. My throat hurts from yelling at my mom.
I'm sitting in my grandparents' apartment in Los Angeles, very depressed at how old they've gottten - this is the first time I've ever seen them show any sign of weakness or debility...
ohhhh, I am hiding in my old bedroom right now. My mother wants to tell me how to cook and when to take the turkey out. Now she keeps getting weepy because I am leaving Monday. God, I can't wait.
Oh God, JG2. I feel ya.
Leaving for mass in about 15 minutes. Pray that the church doesn't burst into flames when I step foot inside...
*doesn't pray*
My family is skipping church tonight because the service interferes with the Redskins game.

Oh, thank goodness most of my family lives in Israel. Sooo much less dysfunction. Good luck to everyone who really doesn't want to go home for the holidays.
My right hand is very cold.
My throat hurts.
I should paint my toe nails...but I don't feel like it.
Are you sick, little girl?
I'm probably getting sick.
Actually, I know I am, 'cause I've been really tired this week.
Dammit!
*makes tea, pours Nyquil, tucks Baby in*
*zzzzzzzz...*
Too bad I'm going out in a few...sleep sounds so good right about now.
Dress warmly, take it easy, and try to get some sleep tonight.
Have you ever started to cook, and then remembered just as you're starting that part of the recipe has something that you need to mix and refrigerate for three hours?
AUGH! I've either got to throw something else together or have dinner at 10:30.
Drink heavily, eat at 10:30... or just call for pizza now and watch It's a Wonderful Life.
*sigh* No, reheated chicken. And grilled squash.
And It's a Wonderful Life, of course.
I just got back from Christmas Eve at the grandparent's house. I got some makeup that I needed, a HIDEOUS purple sweatshirt thing and a pair of jeans and a sweater that I love. In fact, I love them so much that I already have them both. (sigh) I spent about 8 hours cooking and it took about 40 minutes to eat. We have more leftovers than should be legal, so we just had too bring them home. My grandmother had to start crying when I got ready to leave. I swear, I am very grateful that I have a wonderful family that loves me and that we are all able to get together for another year. It just seems that christmas is a lot more stressful that it used to be.

My family left about an hour ago. I got Into The Woods on DVD from my uncle, and lots of money from everyone else.
Happy Holidays everyone!
I'm off to watch Into The Woods now- I just had to share my excitement.

Bah, humbug. Christmas is no fun here. I tried driving to the movie theatre to see Munich, but what looked like every Jew in the county was there, so it was a pretty hopeless cause.
Off to have milk and cookies.
I'm a lonely Jew on Christmas.
