re: The View Today...

I was just saying that a lot of people would have loved to have the chance to see The View from up close, including myself.
What Munk does with his life and his View tix is not of my business and really not worth talking about.

Back to the topick of the thread, it made it to the "breaking news" segment on ABC news.
The anchor, said she is on Elizabeth's side.

re: The View Today...

Must be your local news. It's not on Manhattan's ABC news.

Muscle, you're missing the point. A lot of people would have loved to have my tickets. BUT MY TICKETS WERE NOT TRANSFERABLE. You cannot give them away. They are under YOUR name and YOUR name only. Without proper identification, chances are you'd be turned away.

I didn't prohibit anyone from seeing the show. I allowed 3 people in the standby line to see the show in my place. What's the problem? It's not like there were 3 empty seats.

re: The View Today...

It was not a attack.

But I do not believe for one second that you.. someone who has written about watching the View in the past.. did not realize that with Rosie leaving in a few weeks it would be a sought after ticket. I don't buy that for one second. But in any event.. I understand. As I said.. I could have gone to Idol last night and tonight. On my own or with friends. I just choose not to. So I understand.

re: The View Today...

I got that the tix are non transferable.

I truly don't care about your tix, and Im glad that someone who really wanted in the standing line got to see the show.

And yes, they were the local news.

re: The View Today...

It is on the news here in LA and it has not even aired here yet.

Dame: You don't BUY it? What's not to BUY? Why would I be LYING about not knowing? It's such a trivial matter that I can't imagine why anyone on earth would LIE about not knowing that THE VIEW was a tought ticket. Seriously.

As someone who occasionally watches the show and has never tried to get tickets, no, I had absolutely no clue as to how easy or difficult it would be to get tickets. Buy it.

I believe you Munk. I mean if you don't know how you got the tickets that you didn't order, you certainly wouldn't know that they were sought after.

re: The View Today...

I would honestly love to find out how my name and address got in their system and what led to me getting these tickets. It's so strange.

Well if you already went once you probably ended up in their database.

re: The View Today...

So was the Porche Boxter that appeared in my driveway last Thursday. But strange things happen.

re: The View Today...

Yeah, but I didn't reserve them - they weren't under my name.

So odd.

"they weren't under my name"

Then how could you have gotten in? Didn't you say they are non-transferable and you need an ID to get in?

Haha! A bit contradicting.

Why would anybody lie about such a thing?

re: The View Today...

why are y'all getting in to a fight over other people getting in to a fight?

This is far from a fight, anyways mateo, go check your mailbox.
You might get surprise tix for something, if it happened to one person, it can happen to all of us!

re: The View Today...

Priest: No, not contradictory at all. A given set of tickets are reserved under just ONE name. It's that ONE person that, technically, needs to be present to allow the others to be admitted.

Last time I went, the tickets were under my mother's name. They don't need to know ALL the names of people attending, just who they're booked under. The person whose name the tickets are booked under NEEDS to be there to show ID.

Anyways, I just re-watched Alicia's appearance, oh god I love her for the guts she has. It was rough to watch.

THESE tickets for TODAY were in MY name, which is why I couldn't have just given them away.
