re: Toddlers and Tiaras

And to end the episode, the girl with the ill-fitting teeth who also had blue eyeshadow extending from her eyes across to her hairline took a fit when she didn't win, and so did her mother. They stormed out of the place as if someone had denied them their right to breathe.

And for the three Sprinkle sisters, they didn't win, but their mom did. They all looked very depressed as the mom strutted the stage.

Why am I not watching this?!?!

Sprinkle sisters?! I LOVE that!

I watched. Yes, that mother who stormed out with her daughter was horrible. Her daughter was pretty, but she didn't do anything spectacular that would make her win.

I was debating if the mother of the Sprinkle girls lied about the older one's age so she wouldn't be in competition with the middle one. That girl clearly looked a lot younger than the 11-13 year olds and I felt a little bad for her in that sense.

Marianne, the whole thing is horrible. And that little girl was not pretty, let's be honest. Fake teeth, makeup slathered on and a sparkly dress doesn't make a kid pretty. Especially when the kid is constantly pouting.

This pageant thing is so sick but yet I love watching it because the producers have the same take on it as I do.

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

Oh, I agree the fake stuff is too much. I meant that she was pretty before all the junk, but it didn't help her win because she didn't do anything amazing on stage, but these mothers are too blind to see that, hence why that lady stormed off right afterwards. Yes, the kid didn't act any better, but it should be her mother's job to teach her to lose graciously.

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

I loved the (new) judge who said she was against the children who simply watched their parents acting out the routine and copying them while on stage. That's why that little girl didn't know how to end her routine and leave the stage once her mother stopped acting out.

That little girl is not particularly pretty even without the stuff on, but it's inner beauty that counts, and she had no personality on stage.

All the kids are simply copying what the mothers are doing while they're on stage. It's just a complete joke.

Yes, I thought that was interesting too. I want to know what these parents are thinking with the choreography. It is a joke and these women look even more ridiculous doing it while their daughters are on stage.

I also would not be surprised is the Sprinkle family was using a fake and stupid last name because their real one is horrible or hard pronounce. It just seems too odd, especially since they do the pageants.

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

Agree with everyone but I also could not believe how incredibly morbidly obese the moms were! The little girl with the blue dress and blue eye shadow said she thought her mom was pretty and so was she and that's why she felt she would do well. I thought that was sweet but unfortunately, that little girl had no neck- just like her mom. I thought the Sprinkle sisters were very pretty and their mom only won by default- no one else showed up. This was such a poorly organized pageant!

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

The youngest of the Sprinkle girls reminded me of Dakota Fanning, which is a bad thing, in my opinion.

And just randomly, I got a thing in the mail yesterday to enter in the Miss New Jersey USA pageant. LOL! Apparently, it's the state pageant affiliated with Miss USA. I'm still eligible, but I know I wouldn't make it past the telephone interview. Plus, I'd probably look obese next to a lot of the girls, sadly.

yes stockard, they call them "flippers". Your child suddenly has a flawless smile, no matter what size the teeth are.

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

I was just watching an episode on the TLC website and just before one of the little girls goes onstage another little girl whispers into her ear "you're crazy" and the girl is like "what?!?" and the girl whispers again "you're crazy". What a way to handicap someone's performance just before they make their way onstage! lol

Wow... One of the girl's names tonight is Sparkal Queenz. Seriously. I guess her parents don't know how to spell. That just looks horrific.

Didn't you hear the mother say she was going to name her "Brooklyn?"

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

I must have missed that. I left the room for a moment to talk to my parents. Great, so it was either 2 places in New York or looking illiterate. I don't know which is worse.

I really can't stand Cassidy's mom either.

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

lol my post was eaten- I too posted to see if y'all were watching Sparkal Queenz tonight. Did you catch that Sparkal's mom's name is Harmonee' (yes, with the ').

And what is the crazy mom feeding her daughter for the daughter's "undiagnosed ADHD?" I couldn't figure out if it was a handful of vitamins, or what.

I am enjoying the pirate family, though.

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

At least the "Pirate Girl" was happy to be there and excited to compete! Looked like she and her parents have a great relationship. Cassidy is a brat and her mother has given her unsportsman like behavior. Seriously, running over a crown because it wasn't the top prize. And yet, I watch!

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

Mom, I've been watching too, mostly because it's so bad that it's good, and as I've mentioned, the producers share my view.

However, after tonight's episode and looking at that blond brat who said that if she loses, she'd hit the winner and take her money, etc. etc. ...well, I think I'm sick of all this sickness.

And that little girl's mother, trash that she is, seems to idolize her little girl and treats her like a celebrity.

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

Yes, that was Cassidy. I can't believe she popped the balloon because she lost and then said it was the best thing she did all day.

Sparkal's mother is completely dilusional. I loved her comment how if there was a prize for best name, her daughter would win. Um, no.

re: Toddlers and Tiaras

Actually- I think all of these moms are delusional- that's the point of this show. Sure, there are some very pretty little girls- but that's all they have going for them! The "talents" are absolutely HORRIBLE! (Cassidy's magic show? really- no stage personality whatsoever!) The modeling is pathetic as no model walks like that on the runway! They should at least teach these girls to model for real- instead of robotic. Oh- I could go on..... And yet, my daughter and I watch together!
