Only Fox, unfortunately. I looked into this, because the thought of having to watch Faux News makes me ill. However, this will be too good to miss. I'll flip right to MSNBC when it's over, and hopefully Rachel will anchor their coverage, as she usually does on debate nights.

Trump got pressed by the moderator about immigration, even was given an additional 30 seconds to illustrate his "plan," and instead went off on a soliliquoy about how before him no one was even discussing immigration. His "specifics"? "Build a fence."
Also, Hillary has been referred to as the presumptive Democratic nominee at least half dozen times and we're only 30 minutes in.
The only candidate coming off as remotely credible thus far is Kasich, so of course he doesn't stand a chance.

I couldn't stomach more than the first round of questions before the first commercial break. I was kinda pleasantly surprised by how tough some of the questions were from these Fox hosts, though, of course, they rarely followed up on their questions allowing most of the candidates to simply brush them aside and issue a prepared somewhat related talking point. Of what I saw, Carson was a nervous mess. Cruz, detestable as I find him and his politics, gave one of the sharpest and most effective responses. Trump clearly SHOULD have rehearsed and practiced. Bush seemed too timid for the Repub set and, yeah, John Kasich was the only one who seemed like a rational, reasonably intelligent person. So, of course, he's in dead last and doesn't have a prayer.
Did anything interesting happen after the first round?

Nothing really. Except Trump wants to build a wall around the entire bottom of the US to keep illegal immigrants out. Christie showed his true colors when he started arguing with Paul. It was totally what I expected. And now Trump is claiming he was set up by Fox to fail.
I agree that Carson didn't make an impression. I did see people say that they liked him on Facebook though. I bet it was only because he didn't come off aggressive and rude.

When asked about his lack of experience, Carson responded he was a "smart guy and a fast learner" because he "operates on the brain." When questioned about the military he said that because he isn't a military guy, he'd "just get out of the way and let the generals do their job." So we'd be at war with Iran on day 2.
He also gave the "not everything is about race" lecture, which of course played well with that crowd, but won't play so well with the rest of the country.
His closing statement was him stating that he was the only candidate who has separated Siamese twins. No, really.

Trump was indeed needled with questions designed to provoke.
Ron Paul was extra feisty, often cutting in to rebuke others.
Mike Huckabee was thoroughly horrifying.
The whole thing was less of a political debate and more reality television. Questions were pitched with the specific purpose of getting a rise out of the candidates, and the moderators tried to get them to directly engage one another. The only winner was Fox itself.

Rand Paul and John Kasich come out as the "winners" of last night's corrupt clusterf*ck. Sadly, neither has a remote possibility of the nomination.
Does anyone know when is the first Democratic Debate? Looking forward to Clinton, Biden and Sanders fighting it out... hopefully on a more civil and intelligent level.

I tried to watch, but couldn't stomach it for more than a few minutes. For me, I found the crowd more off-putting than the candidates. It'll be interesting to see if the perceived "winners" of the debate in the eyes of the pundits see any bump at all in the polls. Kasich seems doomed for the Jon Hunstman track.
Do we have a final count on the mentions of "Reagan" during the debate? It never ceases to boggle my mind that current politicians cling to the worst administration of my lifetime.

I also got a chuckle out of Jeb mentioning he "balanced the budget" in Florida while governor. He neglected to mention that the state of Florida constitutionally mandates a balanced budget.
