I have mine done.. Personally I dont think it hurt.. Biting your tongue hurts more. It's supposed to be one of the least painful piercings, but the fastest healing.. mine was healed in a week to a week and a half.

Ouch. I just can't imagine having my tongue pierced. I mean, I like to spice things up, but when it comes to piercings and stuff, that's where I prefer to draw the line...

yes I love it.. Delphi.. hehe.. I actually took it out to change it over the weekend and well it felt weird not having it in.. I had to put it back in..

I have never had a pierced tongue. Nor have I ever had a pierced corned beef either. The Second Ave Deli dosent serve that!

Mine was ridiculously hurt and swollen during the week of healing, but that's also because I got it pierced two gauges thicker than the norm. I can't live without it now...literally. My tongue needs the weight on it now, and I just have a simple short acrylic barbell.

Eeee, the thread for me! I'm also looking into getting my tongue pierced. But I REALLY love spicy foods, and I've read that you need to be careful with that.

A friend of mine in Israel got her tongue pierced without telling her parents. I was in the room when she yawned and her mother saw it, and let's just say that hilarity did not ensue.
