I thought Arlene's joke about zombies was pretty much just one of those meta jokes where the writers basically know that zombies are the big thing now (The Walking Dead)... i doubt we'd get zombies next year... that'd be just too ridiculous for this show...

Did anyone else think that Arlene's daughter was dressed as Arlene for Halloween? That's what I thought until Arlene said she was one of the girls from Teen Mom.

The minute they made the zombie reference, I assumed it was foreshadowing for next season. Last week when Pam said the feminist line about the sundress and then took off like a bat outta hades, I knew she was going to dig up Russell. I also think the unleashing of the dead family members and friends on Halloween will have repercussions next season.
