Does anybody here watch True Blood? I am halfway through Season 2 and I love it! I would like to hear some peoples thoughts on this fantastic show.

We're halfway through the third season. It's a great show - and keeps getting better.

The only character I don't really like is Tara - she's like Lois Lane - ALWAYS getting herself into ridiculous trouble. Otherwise, love the characters - and of course nothing's better than hearing Bill say "Sooooookaaay"

I watched all three seasons quickly, mostly because I heard Denis O'Hare was joining the cast. When I finished the third season I wasn't blown away. I thought they made some really dumb plot decisions and I also felt it was really transparent why they made them. Consequently I wasn't consumed with feeling I couldn't wait XX months for season four to start. I'm sure I'll watch but if I am honest, each season got a little weaker than the one before.

NAMO: I agree. I too feel each season has been weaker. As a Fan of the books, I feel this is because they have strayed so far from the Book plot lines. They need to go back to the essence of the story. And the fun, campy facotr of the first season. However, I do look forward to the Fourth.

How are you catching up on Season 3? DVDs dont come out until May? Ive seen 1 & 2 and impatiently waiting 3.

I have read all of the books (new one is due out next week, yay!

HBO did a 36 hour marathon last weekend showing season one through 3. I had already seen season 1 so I watched season 2 and 2 episodes of season three. I only taped the last four episodes of season 3 so unless they run it again between now and Sunday, I will miss about 5 episodes.

Interesting that HBO is a Time Warner company, but they sold off TWC and now you cant get HBO on TWCs HBOgo.

Don't have a smart phone. I now wish I had set the DVR to tape all of the episodes that I couldn't watch but I was afraid of taking up all of the space on my friend's DVR. He has shows he records daily. After I got home the other night and told him, we went in and looked and I could have recorded them all. Ugh! At least I have the season finale.

Thoughts on the premiere? I watched episode two on HBOGo last night as well, which answered a few more questions than the actual premiere did. Both episodes have kind of run together in my head, so I don't want to say anything that spoils it for those who haven't seen episode two yet.

Jessica Tuck (Nan) is in the opening credits now, so I wonder if she's a major character this season? If it was the Pam, Jessica and Nan show I wouldn't complain.

I enjoyed the premiere. I thought they got a lot done. And I'm glad the whole fairy thing didn't end up being twee and cutesy, which I was afraid of. (Of course now I realize that twee is about the last thing on the True Blood menu, so I shouldn't have worried.)

Nice cliff hanger with Eric.

Tara, while on a path I wasn't expecting, seems to have stopped being such a whiny victim. I loved her so much in season one, but the past two seasons it just seemed like the show's intention was to make her suffer through as much BS as possible.

I'm kind of over Sam. I just find myself with zero interest in anything he's up to.

I did not see Tara going in this direction. Going to be interesting to see how they are going to tie her into the main storyline.
