They're not joined at the hip, y'know!
So you're definitely going to SWIWS now? (And the pic doesn't work, eejit.)
I see it, eejit.
Yes, we're definitely going to SWIWS now. Mabel picked up the tickets today (and it's my birthday treat for her).
Tiff, we're in C 9 and 11. The other option was E 6 and 8 (or something like that). I figured it was a better trade off to be 1 or 2 seats farther from center, but 2 rows closer to the stage.
And Elphie just got a single for November, because I was an idiot and threw away a pair for 11/21 that I thought was crappy, figuring something better would pop up...it didn't.
I really want to see Paul too, now! I'm on a mission to find tix for next weekend. I think my mom is going to come down for a quasi-belated birthday visit to see the naughty Spelling Bee w/ me on Sunday, so if I could snag something for Saturday, I'd be a super happy camper!! It's just wrong for her to miss out on her favorite Beatle. I'm more of a George girl, myself, but Paul's probably a close #2 (it does seem kind of wrong that John's coming in at three, but them's the breaks!)

Hurrah! What exactly is it again...a musical? *is ignorant*
If you're getting her a birthday treat and she's getting you a birthday treat, won't they sort of cancel each other out?
Why not lavish me with gifts instead?
C9 and 11 looks good. Proximity to the stage is tres important!
Lavish YOU with gifts? We've been trying to lavish you with gifts for the last two months, missy!
(3...2...1...is she gone?)
Hmmm...I see the picture too. SWIWS is a musical, and I'm excited to see it, though I'd honestly rather have caught the Williamstown production from a couple summers ago w/ Audra McDonald and Michael C. Hall, but what can ya do?!?
Audra McDonald?? Love! Her!
Okay, Balthazar put me on hold for an indeterminate amount of time, so long that my phone battery died. So we are sans reservation as we speak.
(I'm more concerned about this hotel thing.)
OK, so I didn't go back to my homework yet (had to run out and get a Frosty from Wendy's...haven't had one in AGES and I've got a rather alarming, irrepressible craving for junk food lately!) Anyway, I don't know what to do about the hotel situation, Tiff. Part of me is really bummed about it not working out (for the time being at least) but then another part of me is kind of thinking, "you know, we'll probably be out to a late dinner on Sunday, go out for a drink, and considering I might have to sneak out at 8am or so for my class"...I don't know. I feel really bad, because I know the b'day in the hotel was up there for you since the very beginning, and hopefully something will still turn up as a viable option, but if we were to loose one thing that week, that'd probably be one that I wouldn't be too devestated over loosing. OMG, that was the most ridiculous run-on sentence EVER! I'll keep my eyes peeled, but I'm not sure how many reasonable options are going to pop up (and that place w/ the fridge certainly would have been much more convenient that a "regular" hotel).

Do you really have the money for the hotel thing? Imagine if your parents find out!
I love Audra too - I saw her in A Raisin In The Sun, but I'd love to see her sing.
And Ringo's No.1 for me...only kidding! It's gotta be John, although I have seen Paul live and it was quite the show!
*smirk*
Yeah, I think seeing Paul live bumped him up over John for #2.
Audra was great in Raisin in the Sun...I also saw her in Henry IV at Lincoln Center! EXCELLENT!!! She's amazing, and I'd love to see her in a musical one of these days. I wish I saw the OBC of Ragtime (I saw the tour in Boston).
John's my #1 (Lennooooon!!!! ), and Paul would be a close #2. I suppose seeing him live and, you know, him being alive helps.
Seeing him live...well, well, well...aren't you two lucky.
It's okay about the hotel thing. Only problem is these are two more days I need to find accomodations for.
Two more days?? Weren't you only looking to say there 10/9??

Oh, yeah...I forgot about the whole 'bed for the night' situation.
Paul's new alb is supposed to be fab too. I didn't like the newer stuff I heard at the show in 2002 (2003?), but this is supposed to be better.
And Mabel...run on sentences...loose instead of lose...what are you studying at college again?
(Sorry! I'm really quite nice in person!)
^ This girl said she's 'shy' in person. I say we give her her comeuppance in person, eh, Mab?

Sport? Definition please?
(Oh, and yeah, I only wanted a hotel for 10/9, I just meant that since I'm staying until 10/15, I've got another night to figure out where I'm staying.)

Oy. What're the the best-case/worst-case scenarios?
And any bids on the Monday tix yet?
Updated On: 9/21/05 at 07:17 PM
Nope, but I'm not expecting any bids until a couple days before the end of the auction. Someone with slightly worse seats than mine sold their pair last week for $400!
Mabel? NHL? Eh? Eh? (Are you a hockey person??)
Best-case scenario...we get a hotel for one night, and I only have to worry about one more night of accomodation.
Worst-case scenario...I have two nights to spend with Rath in Central Park.

You'll be like the Bird Lady from Home Alone 2.
(Am I helping?)
I always imagined that Rath looks like Brenda Fricker.
(Sure, you're helping! Git online, find me a cheap hotel, and provide your credit card info!)
Ugh...Loose and Lose are always an issue w/ me. And the run-on business is merely a reflection of my extreme laziness!
Errr...10/13 is Piazza night (still haven't heard whether or not I can snag you a ticket thoug, but for $5 I may have to abandon you in favor of Vicki Clark)...they aren't playing any other nights? Not that it matters, because it'd probably be Wednesday when we've got tix for SWIWS and/or Tuesday when I've got class...hmmm...
B-b-but, I'll still be able to crash at your place on 10/13, even if you see the show, r-r-right? Unlike some people?
Broadway Legend Joined: 9/20/04
Is that a reference to me? *puzzled* Or are there other people worth talking about? *even more puzzled*
And ooh, Mabs! Pillowman came today!
Yeah...what are we thinking?? I'm 99.9% positive I could do 10/7-8 and 10/12-13 w/ no problems at all concerning paperwork and whatnot (and, no, I'm not just trying to avoid paperwork). Is that doable or do you want to explore other options? I know you "have" to stay w/ me 10/7 and 10/12, right? Is staying w/ Sic on 10/10 after the concert going to be a problem? And what about 10/14? Pity she wasn't going somewhere on 10/13 instead so you could crash at my place 10/13-14. This is like a big puzzle!
Really, Ellie? On your face or on your shirt?
