Definitely has some suspenseful moments!!! Ooops, back on!
Crap. Well, 'The Invisible' (a feature with Justin Chatwin from War of the Worlds) called to say they were fully crewed and didn't need a personal assistant for anyone. At least they were courteous enough to give me a ring so I didn't keep waiting! Still waiting on '88 Minutes' (Al's movie) and 'Little Man' (an idiotic movie with the Wayans brothers, whose movies I hate...so much so that I refused to apply for Scary Movie 4 yesterday...yes, 4).
Ugh...one more hour to kill until the Lost recap!
Okay, I'm going to do some work. Ciao for now!
Blech. There is no need for Scary Movie 4!!!
I'm off to do some homework too. Not up for it now, but I guess I've got to make myself "up for it."

Ciao!
Aw, I wanted to see a matinee, seeing as I'm only in town Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. But it's no biggie - it just means I have another excuse to come back!
Blame Rath. It's all her fault.
(Perhaps since Luxia is in midtown, we can catch an 8pm show, and then go for a post-theatre dinner afterwards?)

I'm confusified.
The thing at 2pm is the same as BWW HH?
That is a frightening avatar. Change it!
And no, 2pm is my birthday brunch, consisting of you, me, Rath, Sivon and Nikki. BWW HH is at 5:45pm. That'll give us a couple of hours to completely tire of everyone (who likely won't appreciate our witty and fabulous selves), and then skip on over to the theatre district for a show!

Oh. Yippee!
Sweet Charity has a Sunday evening performance...am I totally alone on that one? I know Elphie loves it!
Ehhh...I'll go. Ooh, I would like to stop off at Tiffany's at some point, and pick up my cheap pendant (which will be more affordable if, alas, the hotel thing doesn't work out). And I'm game for a show, even if it is Sweet Charity. Is Christina still in it?
And hey! What's happening with my Payard cake?

Christina is still in it, I believe. And c'mon! Gwen Stefani saw it last week...are you questioning la Gwen's tastes??
I want to stop off at Tiffany's too! Remind me to bring my, er, my Dad's, credit card!
Payard? I thought we'd settled on a McFlurry?
So I'm looking at other auctions for U2 at Madison Square Garden and it just occurred to me - it would actually kinda suck to get General Admission tickets, eh? You would have to camp out, likely overnight, to secure your spot in line, and if you're not within the first 5 rows, the view would be SH*T anyway!
(I'm also watching a couple of pairs of tickets that may end up selling for under face value on 10/11, so Mabel, will you skip your evening class if I treat you to this one?)
Gwen saw it? Okay, fiiiine, I'm in. (I still wish I was seeing La Gwen in November, but my friends suck.) Has it been on TKTS lately or did you want to pick up advanced tix?
Suuure, McFlurry is fiiiine. But I
don't
mean
to drop hints or anything.

Spelling Bee also a Sunday evening performance - another option?
I'm sure Sweet Charity will be on TKTS - it hasn't been doing fabulously well, I don't think.
And how can you moan about your weight only an hour or two ago, and then proceed to drool over those pics? They all seem so rich...and delicious! Do they sell them at Wendys?
I moan about my weight so I can binge eat in New York! Keep up here! No... subliminal...
birthday...
hints...
...
What time is the Sweet Charity show on Sunday? We have to stay at the BWW HH until at least 7:45!
Here's a list of things that were on TKTS for the last few days:

I think most shows start at 7.30 on a Sunday, don't they?
Oh well. We can go to shows anytime! How often do we get to change Nana's diapers and wipe her drool? Not very often, is the answer!
Yeah, 7, 7:30 or 8. Perhaps a matinee on Saturday instead?
Hmmm...Doubt is still running...

But most Broadway shows don't even do a Sunday evening performance. Chicago, SC and SB I think. Meh. Dunno if I can go to a Sat mat...I have to spend at least some time with the people I came with!
I don't mean with me, silly, I just meant in general, so you can get a Broadway show out of your system!

Oh, okay!
Phew. The thought of sitting next to you for 2+ hours revolts me.
Tiff...I really can't believe you're even considering a 4th concert that week! In all reality, I get out of class at quarter to 9, and when the trains are running normally (HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!) I can get from my place to Penn/MSG in 15-20 minutes, which would mean getting there just in the nick of time for U2 (maybe missing a smidge of the first song...it'd sure be nice if they were opening w/ Vertigo, because who really needs to hear that a dozen times?!!??) How "below face" are they going for?...I can't believe I'm even entertaining the notion of another show. We need professional help, Tiffy!!!
Oh, and when I saw Sweet Charity on a Sunday afternoon, I got student rush about an hour before curtain, no problem. It was a pretty decent side orchestra seat. I think once was enough for me w/ Charity, but it was fun! I'd say if it was between the two though (and Sunday evening is the only viable option for a show) I'd try to go w/ Spelling Bee over Charity though.
ETA: Well, if a show w/ Tiff was in the cards and you couldn't hack sitting next to her for 2+ hours, I'd definitely go w/ Bee. You might even be able to pawn her off for a reasonable chunk of the show...but I don't know how much you guys know about it and I don't want to taint it for you.
Spelling Bee would certainly be my choice over Charity (in fact, Bee is probably the #1 show I'd like to catch). How much was student rush for Charity?
PS. Oh, and yes we need professional help, OR you can just consider it taking advantage of a good deal!
PPS. SH*T! Martha's Apprentice is on! BBL!
Student rush for Charity is $25. I think SRO for Bee is $20 or $25. That'd be the route I'd go...I'm 1 for 6, I think, at the lotto for Spelling Bee. They do their lotto 1/2 hour later than the rest, so all the Wicked losers (right next door) try for Spelling Bee as well (and Sunday night, the Bee drawing is about 15 minutes after Wicked lets out, so a bunch of the people leaving put their names in as well).
*sigh* How much are they? Are they "Chicago cheap"??? Seriously, I wish I lived in Chicago. Those puppies are going dirt cheap. I saw a single yesterday that had 20 minutes left or something and I think it was $27 w/ no reserve!!!
We-ell, I haven't seen any auctions when there's only minutes left, but in between the 80% of ridiculously over-priced tickets, there's some cheap ones!
