Oh, good, Pat! Are you trying lotto for that? And you're seriously considering selling your SWIWS tickets for In My Life??
If you get rid of the green column altogether, you can make Celia look bigger!
See Bee! Tres fantastic! Even the understudy for Dan Fogler I saw was good!
So when are you, Claire and Nic meeting up, Stephen?
i'm not that good with da computer... i cant do that. i just barely figured out how to put color and stuffs
Eeewww! Luba Mason is a fright. I saw her in Jekyl and Hyde (yeah, I know), and she was pretty terrible. Then, I saw this interview w/ her that aired on Bravo, and she went on and on about how Lucy didn't die at the end. Sure, Luba. I'm sure she pulled right on through after having her throat slit and being stabbed in the back.
Oh and to chime in...I'm already in NYC and I've got a DellPod w/ lots of U2 on it. Does that count for anything?
And yay for the Wednesday mat of Spelling Bee. That should clear things up for you, Pat!
OMFG, you came just at the right time, Nic! ["That would be a first!"--Rocky Horror chorus - Ba-dum-BUM!]
I JUST found this clip of Harvey and Rosie in Fiddler. And Harvey's "If I were a rich man...bada...etc." is as funny and horrifying as you'd expect! LOLing right now...

Yikes! Harvey dancing was...terrifying! Seriously.
Off to watch the Luba Mason clip.
Oh, bwt, word on the street is U2'll be announcing their 4th leg next week. Rumors have them going to S. America, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan in spring/summer 06.
CQ, put this one up, you git.
Harvey was just bad all over, right? Wasn't Rich Man AWFUL??
So are you planning a trek to Brazil or New Zealand next year, Nic??
hehe. got it!
Yeah, I am giving some thought to seeing IML, as I am glutton for punishment.
However, I think I'll regret it if I see it and I'll regret it if I don't, so thanks to the inclusion of the Spelling Bee Mat on Wed - I am back to looking at SWIWS as the likely option.
I will probably get SRO for Bee and try for the lotto as well.
Well if it's not necessary to sacrifice any shows now, then you should check out SWIWS. Watching the clip of In My Life, it doesn't look awful. Then again, it's a rehearsal clip out of character and it's just two people singing, so what do I know.
go see spelling bee on the 19! ill be there
It was absolutely scary. It went beyond just being bad, Tiff. It was FRIGHTENING! And yet, it made me kind of want to see it before it closes w/ Harvey and Rosie.
As much as I would love to see the lads elsewhere, I don't see where I would have the money to be off galavanting in NZ or Brazil. It'd be nice if they were back in Europe next summer when I had my "fantasy trip to Europe" planned. If they happened to be playing somewhere that I was already tentatively going, sure I'd catch them. But, I certainly don't think I'd fly half way around the world and plan a vacation around them. Though it would be amazing to see them down under. Can someone say "One Tree Hill"?!?!?!? For the first time in nearly 20 years!!! *thud*
thanks for ghettotizing my avatar! we should SO meet up in London for a Billy Elliot fest this summer!
Ummm...I love how the IML clip showed NOTHING about the crazy-ass subplot w/ Winston the flaming angel and his quest to put the two lovebirds in God's Opera, complete w/ pirates, dancing skeletons, bouncy songs about tumors, JT's psychotically obnoxious dead sister, the random Dr. Pepper/VW jingles, the giant lemon, etc, etc, etc. They make it sound like it's really just their sweet little love story. That was really only half of it!
No problem, Qtie!
I'll meet you in London in 2007, guys!
Yeah, right, "One Tree Hill", Nic? How about "Miracle Drug encore"??
You gotta love how that girl they interviewed is all, "People really NEED a musical like this now...umm...I think they'll like the...music..."
I'd be willing to bet serious money that OTH will show up should there be a 4th leg that goes to Australia/NZ. I expect a carefully written letter of appology and you to publicly admit that you were wrong in not trusting my U2-intuition. *raspberry*
Well, it might be there at SOME point.
I'd make you write a letter of apology should they do a "Miracle Drug" encore, but I feel just the presence of a "Miracle Drug" encore (esp. if that's the one show you've flown to Uzbekistan to see) is bad enough.
2007!? i cant wait that long!!? NOOO!
Well, we'll see what happens in the summer of 2006! Haha!
But yeah, MD needs to go. It could so easily be rotated with OotS or something. I really enjoy the album version, and I really like the sentiment behind it, but it's just so damn plodding live. Ugh! "A miiirrrrrrracle..........mirrracle drruuuuuuuggggggg...." Zzzzzzzzzzzzz. The mere thought of MDx2 makes me want to go off and cry in a corner somewhere. Blech!
This story was in today's LA Times.
I thought it was pretty awesome: http://www.calendarlive.com/music/cl-et-exit4nov04,0,7976686.story?coll=la-home-headlines&track=hppromobox
I love how the one sort of "meaningful" song on HTDAAB is the one we dislike the most - at least, live. "Reeeaaason is on your siiiide....whoooaaa...whoooa...zzzzzz....the stars were in your [thunk]"
Shut UP, CQ. Take it or leave it. And you'll be LEGAL by 2007. *rrorr*
no i won't.
oh, right, sorry.
yes i will.
OH MY GOD, CHRISTINE LAWRENCE IS THE WOMAN I SOLD THE VEGAS TICKETS TO!!
!!!AH!!!
