Just a quickie...I only took 16 pictures and most of them are pretty crap. All the ones of Edge are blurry or someone's hand is in the way or something. I have two pretty damn good ones of Adam though! Jensen Ackles and I are likethis now!! And there are a couple of ok ones of Bono. I'm going to try to stop off and make some prints tomorrow.

Saw RENT yesterday...Not impressed. I'll rant more about it later, but just one thing. Since when was Collins a fall-down, sloppy alcoholic?!?!? Obviously these guys are all dabbling in drugs, drink, etc (and I wouldn't want them to be squeaky clean) but Collins (despite Jesse's fabu voice) was drunk off his ass or stoned every single time he was on screen. Not my vision of the character. Sorry.

Hope you got home safe, Pat and Anjilly!

Off to visit some family. We're going to be SUPER late! Ugh!

I got a text message from Pat last night, so I think they made it home safely.

I also have some issues with the movie, although I did not dislike it.

U2 sounds and looks like it was awesome.

I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

Hi everyone.

I did make it home. I have basically spent all day today vegging in front of the television getting caught up on stuff from the Tivo.

Tomorrow is the big "Thanksgiving dinner" with the in-laws. Ugh.

I need to sit down and collect my thoughts about the film now that I am detached and back in reality. In short, I concur with smartpenguin. I had a lot of issues with the film, but at the same time, I liked it.

The U2 show will be available before the weekend is over, I promise. Jensen Ackles and I are likethis now!!

Can't wait to hear it, Patty! So how was your trip on the whole? Did you end up doing Sardi's? Central Park?

Oh, by the way, Fredi Walker's on the main page if you're gonna stop in and say hi. She was online late last year and early this year and befriended a few of us. Very cool lady.

We didn't do Sardi's. We did do Central Park. Stumbled upon it by accident actually which was kind of fun.

We spent most of the trip hanging out with smartpenguin78 and yodamarie78 and it was awesome. They are a ton of fun and I miss hanging out with them already.

Thanks for the head's up on Fredi Walker, but I can't imagine what I'd talk to her about.

So what were you four up to? Wild antics and shenanigans?

Surely you have something to talk about with Fredi! About seeing the show four hundred times and following her home to sift through her garbage? I'm sure she'll be charmed. Jensen Ackles and I are likethis now!! Okay, maybe not. I'm going to hide here for now, then sleep for a really, really long time. *yawn*

Who's cooking Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow?

Hey all...our Thanksgiving was good, and I'm so unnecessarily excited about having leftovers tonight. What's up with that?!?

We went to visit with my aunt and uncle last night and my cousin (*M*) was up with her two daughters (7 and 4) from Florida. It was good fun to see them...It had probably been almost 3 years since I'd seen them last.

Oooh, I got some new dirt on the (other) cuz!!! I guess *M* and co had Thanksgiving dinner with her and she was quite the wench!!! Total diva apparently. She had some pix, which were totally hillarious. I wish I could have gotten a copy of this one w/ *M*'s two daughters sitting on either side of her, w/ Lil Miss Diva totally striking a pose (w/ her hair all done up, whorey makeup and all!), doling out the mashed potatoes. It was really quite the gem, let me tell you!! My mom was so bad, too! *S* (the 4 year old) was sitting on her lap, and my mom was like "So, what did JoJo eat?...And did she run right off to the bathroom?!?" Naughty, naughty!

Anyway, the whole family is totally over Lil Miss Diva, which I found rather amusing. I guess *J* (the 7 year old) had told her class at school that she was going up north for Thanksgiving and that she'd be having dinner w/ her, so all of her class mates wrote letters for her, and can you believe it, that little wench sluffed them off and left them at the house! Fine, if you just chuck them when you leave, but at least humor your cousin (and they actually see each other on a quasi-regular basis, so it's not like some randome 2nd cousin of a 3rd cousin, twice removed or anything!). Anyway, it was tres amusant!...God, that mashed potato picture was priceless!

Anyway, not much else happening. I haven't done any work...shock! It's really going to suck royally when I get back to school.

Still haven't gotten the prints made. Maybe this afternoon.

Pat, let us know how the cleaned up recording turns out. I won't be able to download it until I get back to school, since I'm on dial-up here. I can't wait to listen to it though!!! Eeee!!!

Heehee. I'm sure you're glad you didn't have to spend Thanksgiving with JoHo, Mabs!

My Thanksgiving was good, too. I love Thanksgiving. Every year we squeeze about 50 of my family members into a NYC apartment, which is always interesting. But fun. My Grandad ended up in the hospital, which was scary, but he was released today and is doing okay.

Tomorrow I'm seeing The Woman in White and I'm excited about it. I'll post a review. Jensen Ackles and I are likethis now!!

Yeah, I'm glad I didn't spend Thanksgiving w/ JoHo either...though I am glad that some family did, so I got some dirt and some super funny pix!

Sorry to hear about your scare with your grandfather, Elphie, but it's good to hear he was released. I hope he's feeling better!!

Be sure to let us know how WIW is. I've still got to hear it. I've heard some mixed things about it, but I guess te performances and the set are supposed to be absolutely wonderful! Have fun!!

God, worst shift ever today. Actually, it went alright at first, until I had this bitchy demon customer who was so confrontational and cow-ish (we're talking unprovoked personal insults and spitefully dumping her purchases on the floor and telling me to pick them up and give her a refund on them) which has totally ruined my evening.

Sorry to hear about your granddad, Claire! Glad to know he's out of the hospital though. Was Thanksgiving enjoyable otherwise?

Dammit Nic! You should've gotten a digital pic of the pic and posted it! I would've LOVED to see it. Man, I tell you, that whore-ish make-up is far over-done. I can't believe she'd wear that to a freakin' Thanksgiving dinner! She hasn't had even a moderate hit since...what was her one hit wonder called again? Was the Rosie jacket still present? 10 Days Till I Quit The Pharmacy! But please give her a break, Nic. I'm sure that all of Hillary Duff and Avril Lavigne's rejected core fan groups have re-routed their attention to Miss Diva, and she simply doesn't have time or patience to humour your little cousin. She's a STAR, you know. Who do you think she is, Nic? She's JoJo. 10 Days Till I Quit The Pharmacy!10 Days Till I Quit The Pharmacy! Y'all don't be hatin' now!

It's not Thanksgiving in Canada (that was over Columbus Day for you guys), so nothing too eventful happening here.

Doesn't Canada have a holiday that falls around the same time as Thanksgiving though? Shouldn't you take a cue from your neighbors to the south and embrace the chance to totally gorge yourself on food (turkey or otherwise)?!?!? I sure as hell think so!!!

And it's not just my little cousin that JoHo snubbed, it was her cousin too!! And they certainly see her more often than I do, so I don't think it would have killed her to humor her and at least wait until she left the house to chuck the letters...And I SO wish I had a copy of that picture. It was seriously priceless!

I'm sorry about your sucky day at work, Tiff. I don't know how you put up with customers like that. Ugh. 10 more days, though! That's good, right? You don't have to put up with too much more! You're going somewhere, right? Where/when/with whom is that? Are you excited?

Saw The Woman in White today, and I really enjoyed it. I have the OLCR so I was familiar with the music. Maria and Jill were both in (the full cast was in), which was good because those two have both been out this week. Maria is amazing; she gave such a great performance. Her "All for Laura" gave me chills. I love that song. And she was soooo sweet at the stage door. My grandmother started this conversation with her about cancer and at first I was embarrassed, but Maria was so sweet and so gracious and appreciative that my grandmother was concerned. Great overall experience. I definitely recommend the show to everyone!

Just back from a kind of blech interview w/ Plum Pictures. I'm really bummed, because I want that internship SO BAD! This indy production company has only been around for 2 years and they've been churning out movies that are really "my type" of indy film. Even though I missed it, I was really excited for The Baxter w/ Justin Theroux, Peter Dinklage, Paull Rudd, and Michelle Williams. And their other film, Lonesome Jim (directed by Steve Buscemi, starring Casey Affleck and Liv Tyler) went to Sundance...and in the spring they'll be in production for a new film (Dedication) directed by Theroux, starring Billy Crudup, Mandy Moore, Harvey Keitel, Mia Farrow, and Bob Balaban. UGH!

Thanks for the review of WiW, Claire. I'm sure I'll get around to seeing it one of these days. I enjoy Michael Ball and Maria Friedman...not so big on ALW's stuff of late, but we shall see!

Nothing else new. I'm exhausted. I think I needed a more substantial break than just a couple of days. And the cats were really pesty, so I didn't even get to catch up on sleep as much as I was hoping to while I was home. I think I need to start making myself a monsterous To Do list! I've only got a couple weeks left!!! Eeek!

Aw. Sorry you weren't happy with the interview. But who knows; maybe you're underestimating yourself! I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya. It does sound like a great company.

Yeah, I know how difficult it is to go back to school after a short break. I'm sure you felt like just staying home and not going back! Hopefully the last few weeks will go by quickly.

By the way, have you (Nic) seen Sweeney Todd yet? If not, would you be interested in getting those cheap rear mezz seats and going sometime w/me? (they don't have a rush, right?) I really wanna see it.

Just back from mailing my thank you (aka: grovel) letter to Plum Pix. *fingers crossed* It certainly wasn't horrible, but I didn't feel like I gave off a "hire Nicole"-vibe. Then again, when I got someone who said that outright, nothing ended up coming of it, so what do I know?!?

I haven't seen Sweeney yet, and I definitely want to. I'm game for the rear mezz seats (they don't have rush tix, as far as I know). When would you want to go? I'm pretty much available any days other than Tues/Thurs (and I'm going to a Theater Talk show on Dec. 8th). Just give me a heads up when you'd like to go.

Mabs, I'm pretty much game for any time to see Sweeney! It's not like I have much going on here. I'll PM you later to plan. Is SRO very likely? Has it been sold out? I'll have to look into that. Those are cheaper than rear mezz, right?

I think SRO is $26.25. When we went to the box office last Wednesday night it wasn't sold out.

The guy at the box office said that they typically only sell out on the weekends. He did have some partial view orchestra seats for $33 I think.

Oh, and I've got an interview w/ Queer Eye for the Straight Guy on Wednesday. That'd be fun, I'd imagine! C'mmmmeoooonnnnnn, Coooonnnnnaaaannnn!!!! That's the last biggie that I've been waiting on. I've sent a bunch of others out but Plum, Queer Eye, and Conan were the big three for me. *bites nails*

Hooray! It's DLing as we speak, Stephen!

Ugh...I'm so tired. Non-stop work. Wiped. Jesus.

Check out Sweeney! How much are rear mezz? Partial view orchestra seats would be great - I don't know how bad a partial view could be, since most of the set is centre stage - I suppose you'd be missing out on Patti playing the triangle for some parts. No biggie.

Wow, Plum Pics sounds so good, Nic! Well, if that doesn't work out, then good luck with Queer Eye - THAT would be so much fun. But I think Plum sounds the most innovative and rewarding.

For Sweeney Todd, partial view are $33 according to Pat, and rear mezz are $36.25. SRO would probably be the best deal, but I just don't know how likely it is to get those.

I downloaded and burned the 11/21 audio, and I can't wait to listen to it (which I'll do now)! Thanks again, Pat!
