I was thinking the exact same thing, Marianne.
See, I think they are going to be doing gang busters business in the next couple weeks. People are going to go for the floor show!

If they even open. I don't think they have since the meltdown.
They've been open. Some news stations out west have had interviews with people inside eating. And they LOVE the food AND the service!
If she's the only one that can cook and he's the only one that can touch the register and they get huge crowds...MELT DOWN!!And everyone will have their cameras ready.
You-know-who has been noticeably absent from this discussion.
COINCIDENCE????????
Did anyone else feel like hurling when Gordon Ramsay took a bite out of that "blue ribbon" burger and the mixture of grease/sauces came dripping out from the bottom of his burger onto his plate.
Yuck! GROSS!
They have a new Facebook page and Amy is stealing pictures again of other peoples food.
Seriously, all the whiny garbage about the websites needs to go away. I get that's why they are so entertaining, but it's a huge turnoff to take them seriously.
That pizza pic has been around on the Internet for years.

Unless they post a picture of themselves holding today's newspaper, I'm just gonna assume any new page that pops up is fake.
OMG they just posted o that page ,that they closed to further notice cus they dont feel safe
AND yup this pics have turned up she was a hooker in reno
I am begining to feel very sorry for these two very ill people. Certainly they will lose their business and forever be branded because of their allowing this show into their lives.
The facebook page is hilarious. People found links back to the original sources of the stolen pictures and tagged them. And the ones that weren't stolen are PRETTY clearly Amy's...

The show has quite the application that must be submitted. I wish that their application could be "leaked" as I'm really curious as to what they could have said about themselves that would have gotten them chosen.

I want to know why they would ask if you are in any professional performing arts unions. I think most wouldn't if they run a restaurant. That seems a little odd for a question.
Because if you were, like so many people who work one job but do Back Ground work and small roles on the side, They would have to pay you as a featured performer.
ETA: This would be one way for an actor to get their face on TV for an entire hour. Playing the role of a restraunteur (sp?).

Maybe something to do with SAG/AFTRA? I'm not sure what the union's relationship is with reality television shows.
And it's not unheard of for an actor to either leave the business for the "stability" of owning/managing a restaurant or to even be owning it as a side business to supplement their acting income.
Now EVERYTHING is wiped from the "new" page. Guess I missed another meltdown.
(But they feared for their SAFETY? IF that's true, it's so very wrong -- but I don't believe they were in any danger.)

Appearing on this show (or Restaurant Impossible) usually gives a restaurant a HUGE uptick in business- a restaurant near me has been on RI and although the episode will not run for a couple months, their business has to have doubled or tripled. There literally are lines out the door for the place.
Exactly Joe. Being seen on TV whether in a good light or bad means business. Soup Nazi started a chain after Seinfeld. Magnolia bakery, the worst freaking Betty Crocker cup cakes in the World became a chain after being mentioned on Sex In The City. Amy's will do stellar business! It will become a tourist attraction AND they can keep up their antics because That is exactly what people will go there for.
