Did anyone say Maimed starring Lucille Ball?
"Night of the Comet and The Beguiled should not be mentioned in this thread because they are both great films, imo."
I'd agree about The Beguiled, but Night of the Comet? It features a scene where two girls try on clothes in an empty department store while "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" plays in the background. It's one of my favorite silly pieces of cinema, but it's not exactly Lawrence of Arabia.

Oh yes, the movie that proved that Vanna White was more than just a letter turner.
The Beguiled is really campy.
I think it is a very good movie, especially for the genre.
btw, common in BOTH Night of the Comet and Hollywood Wives?
Mary Catherine Stewart...no I am not her agent.
OMG...another with MCS which is worse than most movies on here...
The Apple!
Speaking of comets, there was a real clunker on CBS several years ago. It aired around Halloween and was supposed to commemorate the "War of the Worlds" broadcast. I believe "Fire in the Sky" was the title.
It was done up like a fake breaking news sequence where asteroids (that turned out to be aliens) were hitting the earth. Somehow, they got Arthur C. Clarke and Sander Vanocur to participate.
The kicker was -- despite having NUMEROUS disclaimers saying that this was a movie, people were still calling in to local affiliates, panicked about when the asteroids were going to hit. Yeah. The world is being destroyed, but only one network is covering it.
I used to have it on video but accidentally taped over it.
BLADE RUNNER
MrMidwest, thanks for reviving the thread. I'm actually one full-time job and four temps away from the "entertainment media publishing house" (bs) where I had planned to screen the films. Long story about the importance of not trusting people who seem bad to you right off the bat. Anyway, of all the films mentioned, TROG is the one I'm still dying to see most. I did see part of it on the Mildred Pierce documentary about Joan.
New recommendations from me: Nightmare in Badham County and Mary Jane Harper Cried Last Night if you can track them down. Bride of Chucky otherwise.
Return to the Blue Lagoon. The first one was bad enough. The second one didn't even have Brooke Shields in it.
Has no one mentioned the Godzilla movies??? That poor maligned city-stomper is too cute for words. Terrible, but fun movies.
Also, I love watching The Blob with people. Of course, maybe that is why I'm home alone right now.
My favorite intentionally bad movie has already been mentioned: Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. I even remember the theme song, so be glad this is a message board and I can't subject you to a performance.
