How could I forget "Night of the Lepus". Any list of bad movies should have at least one killer rabbit movie of the 70's.Oooh, and "Day of the Triffids"--a killer plant movie of the 60's.

Oh, come on, people!
Lonley Lady (with a GROWN UP Pia Zadora and the late Lloyd Bochner) is one of the all time greatest. Watch it all the way through...you won't want to miss the final scene.
Hudson Hawk with Bruce Willis and Sandra Bernhard...just WOW.

I guess it goes without saying Valley of the Dolls...

PEACE.

Piranha is a fantastically bad horror flick. The little plastic fish swimming by are hilarious. My family used to go to the park where it was filmed - Aquarina Springs in San Marcos, Texas. It was made famous in the 60s by a diving and swimming pig named Ralph, who appeared on To Tell the Truth. It was a gorgeous park that included glass-bottom boats, the underwater Mermaid ballet, and the chickens that would dance or play Tic-Tac-Toe. It went by the wayside in the 80s and shuttered. I think it is now a research facility for Texas State University.

I did see Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. I also reember a bizarre Japanese film in which Santa Claus was pitted against the Devil that was particularly awful.

If you want something that's not only bad, but will generate RIDICULOUS amounts of astounded conversation and hours of "What in the fiery burning hell WAS THAT CRAP?!", show them "What the Bleep Do We Know?"

It's hysterically awful, and absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to follow, but it does have Marlee Matlin.

Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you. Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

So have you seen any of the films that people have suggested since this thread was started, Evelyn?

I thought of a few more:
-Color of Night (Can someone please explain to me what relevance Bruce Willis not being able to see red has to the plot of this film? What a ridiculous movie).
-Cheerleader Camp
-Slumber Party Massacre
-Confessions of Sorority Girls

A classic film turkey: Plan 9 From Outer Space

I second that...that was the first movie to pop into my mind. Bella Lugosi (spelling wow I apologize) died half way through filming and they used the same shot of him about 10 times. It really is laugh out loud funny because it's so horrible.

I second Showgirls and any Lifetime movie, especially She's Too Young, which is my personal fave. I recently watched Stolen Women, Captured Hearts with Janine Turner, in which two women are captured by Sioux Indians and fall in love with them and all that. Hysterical.

Dungeons & Dragons is also completely horrible.

Invasion of the Bee Girls
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls
The Cobra Woman
Satan's Cheerleaders

Night of the Comet and The Beguiled should not be mentioned in this thread because they are both great films, imo.

For TV movies, I HAVE to recommend "Hollywood Wives" as one of the funniest things I've ever seen...and it is about 6 hours long! Fabulous!

Also, the movie when Meredith Baxter Birney has bulimia and the one where Judith Light beats up her husband.
