I agree with what many of you have said except I don't think it does any good to sit here and say the way things should be if we aren't going to go out and try to stop these things as best we can. I am a strong proponent of leading by example, but sometimes you have to get down and dirty and work with people. You may think it's a huge problem and there is nothing you can do to reverse the tide, but every little bit helps in my humble opinion. We are hypocrites if we complain about how something is wrong and people are apathetic about things when when we aren't willing to work for change ourselves.
My avatar is a reminder to myself. I need lots of reminders...
Lack of Respect, definitley. Especially in our younger generations. You go to the mall and see kids yelling at their parents to do this and do that. God, if I EVER were to do that, my mother would rip off my pants right there and spank me red.
Also, close-minded people. Sure, you can have your opinions, but don't just sit there and be like "I am holier than thou, my opinion is right, yours isn't." I really Despise those people.
And shallowness. You really shouldn't care what other people look like. I HATE shallow people. If you don't fit the 5'10, 110, C cup model then hell your screwed. It's terrible. Why are we raising our children like that? What, are only Barbies and Kens allowed to have children? To fall in love? No. It's because of things like this that people are committing suicide, becoming anorexic and bulemic each and everyday. No one deserves that. Just be happy with yourself and others. You are not God, you have NO right to judge.
"This is what I trained to do, and this is what I love about theater. What I love about being an actress is being able to really look into myself and understand another human being. And out my own self, to shape and form and fashion a real human being--and to present that in such a way that people see something of themselves or their own understanding in that human being."
--Phylicia Rashad
I would say people who try to force their beliefs down the throats of everyone else. And that probably includes everyone on the planet........so, now I'm not sure
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

People who hold no interest in learning about the world around them and choose to be passive recipients of sensationalized and biased news and "knowledge" without exploring anything for themselves. Even worse when they then complain about "the system" without truly knowing what exactly they're against.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I love Wal-mart! It's the closest store to my house. I can buy everything there and I never have to go anywhere else! And everything is so cheap. And they have some cool clothes there now too!
