The kids start school soon, but that happens every year. It takes a lot of money, effort and time to get ready! I am flat broke after paying for tuition, fees, uniforms, supplies, sports fees, sports equipment, etc!!!! Holy Crap!
Mrs. Brd did about 90% of the work! I had a conversation with another father yesterday with kids the same age. He said that we are just was close in years to being first time grandparents as we were to first time parents!
I'm Ok. Had a wonderful weekend away in Monterey - truly gorgeous and satisfying. It was really needed, as my skin crap has kept us from escaping all summer!
I'm still dealing with it, but it has become much contained. Saw the doctor again this morning, and we're kind of in another 'wait and see' mode while we wait for more testing. VERY frustrating and mildly depression inducing, but I refuse to succumb!
Outside of that, things are as ducky as they usually are. We are blessed, so getting worked up over minor hitches seems . . . inappropriate, if not ill-advised.
You are correct about getting worked up about minot glitches. We have lost so many friends this year, the most recent a woman in her 50s to cancer. Paying tuition should be a good thing - smart kids that enjoy their school and education.
I hope that your skin issue resolves. I need to lose a few pounds and then I will fell better. We have set 9/3 as our healthy start date.
lol, no no, brd. The liver gets a break today! :) I love tequila shots. I don't like it in an actual drink, but man do I love it as a shot. But the trouble it has gotten me in is a whole different story, hehe!
