DD, I'm so glad that you liked the show! And see, you should have come with me to see it on Broadway!! You should meet me in LA when I go see it there in May! (and with YWIW too)
And sheesh I need to build my tolerance back up!!
haha, are you feeling like me this morning, well afternoon, L?
Ugh, I had to wake up at 7 to teach 7th grade today, just got home. It's been a long morning!
Yikes!!! Did you ever take that permanent position they offered?
Yes I did! So now I have to stop going out on Saturday nights and start going to bed earlier!
That's cool though. Think of how many more shows you can see with the added income!!!
Well, I pretty much see all the shows I want now, so they need to add a few days to the week in order for there to be more opportunities to see shows!
I'll go talk to some peoples and see if i can get that arranged for ya!
Good luck with that Tink!!
Just got home from the Bee, enjoyed seeing some new understudies, as well as some of my favorite old timers.
I'm still recovering, lol! I read Spring's Awakening today and watched football. Nothing exciting.
Yesterday, while dress shopping, my friend convinced me to go to the MAC store to look for make-up to go with it. The people in MAC usually scare me, but I went to appease her. Next thing I know, I'm sitting in a chair having a makeover. Can I tell you HOW scared I was when I looked in the mirror??? How do people think looking like a clown is attractive? After I wiped half of it off and blended what was left, it didn't look half bad, but still, just scary!
Did you take a picture before wiping it off?
haha, no, but I should have! It was horrid. One thing about their make up though, it stays on! After wiping most of it off, it still lasted through a whole night of bar hopping, walking blocks in the rain to the car, and sleeping. I woke up and it looked like it never budged!!!!
That is pretty cool. I've never used MAC stuff, maybe I will check it out soon.

BEARS WIN!
I actually bought one of the eye shadows she used (there were 5 total, I know, yikes!) it was a pink/tan ish color, not bad.
I love the dress I found. It was also 50% off, which I didn't know until I went to the register, so that was a huge perk.
Congrats Brd. And I guess sorry DD.
I don't do pink eyeshadow. Actually, I don't really do eyeshadow in general.
Brd, I thought of you as the ball was flying towards the posts! Everyone in your area must be going nuts!!
I generally only do eyeshadow/mascara. And chapstick. I would not be able to live with our chapstick.
Sad day... but we put up a good fight.
DD! Guess who I bumped into at the Kennedy Center yesterday????
Eartha Kitt?
Oh, is Eartha Kitt your sister?
Evening all - ends up they would not take my sofa and love seat because there were some scratches on them from the cats. They wanted them in pristine condition. Good god, they were in good enough condition for me to use, and for people to ask why I was replacing them, you would think they would be in good enough condition to give to charity - but I guess not! Apparently, this one charity is very picky, and it was the only one that collects on Saturday!
I had to lug the damn sofa down two flights of stairs (with a friend) and will call the city on Tuesday and pay to have it thrown away. It is really a shame, because someone could have used it. I just did not have the time to arrange for someone else to pick it up, because the new furniture is arriving tomorrow.
But, got everything else done, and now only have a couple more things to buy.
Damn, it is cold for LA.
Just being a smart@ss.
Wow!!! Did she go see the show with you or was she there to see the kid's show? How was Rasta?
Hi, YWIW! Sorry about your troubles!
DD, Eartha was there to see the kids' show. Dottie was there to see Rasta with me and Caldwell.
Lubovitch's Othello is wonderful! We both LOVED it. (Dottie says he prefers classical ballet.) Funny, we went purposely to see Rasta but wound up being astonished by the ballet itself. EVERY one of the dancers was superb.
The only bad thing is that eventhough the piece is called "Othell," Rasta didn't dance that much! I mean, he was PERFECT, but I wish he had danced Desdemona! She had more to do than anyone. I think even Iago danced more!
What I find most intriguing is what Rasta does with his hands.
Wow... sounds great. Ms. P. Did you get to spend some time with Eartha? Did she meet Dottie?
And what exactly does Rasta do with his hands? Inquiring minds want to know.
