Hi, MT!
DD, here's essentially what I told you last night that evaporated in cyberspace:
Ms. Kitt and Little Miss Kitten were on their way to a show and running close to curtain. We said "Hi" in front of the Opera House while I waited for Caldwell P. Cladwell to park the car. Dottie was already inside. I didn't get to talk to him until the first intermission, so Eartha did not meet him.
HOWEVER, they are ALL coming over on Saturday for Raclette so they will meet soon!
Little Miss Kitten is just so sweet! (Ms. Kitt, too.)
Everyone should feel high maintenance once in a while!
All of a sudden? *mwah*
That's wonderful, Ms. P!!! I wish I could take a plane over for the weekend and join you all. Don't know if Mr. Kitt is going, but I think he and Caldwell would get along famously.
Eeeek! I am on a "Eliminate High Maintenance People from Your Life" kick right now! L, reform, quickly!!!!
OK! OK!! Tink, you don't have to add days to the week.
DD and Brd, it can be called a Banking Holiday. Either way I still have the day off.
Done, Miss P!!! No more demands!
Whew! I didn't want to put you on the list, L!!!
Ok, glad I was able to sidestep that one!

I wonder if DAME will be at the Golden Globes tonight? Anyone know?
Miss P, I am going to start using that technique NOW.
I had no idea the Golden Globes were tonight.
So, L, what shows are on the agenda this week?
DD, what technique? Telling people you are "eliminating high maintenance people" from your lives and having them stop instantly? I had no idea it was a "technique" until it actually worked on this thread!
Something tells me it ain't as easy as it looks.
That one!
Something tells me it just might be.
You know, DD, you're right. Because even if the HMP doesn't change, YOU DO!!!!

Are you all on crack? I have no clue what is at issue.
Hey... instead of BFF, you can now be a LMF! or LMFF!
It's all out there, brdy. You don't even have to read between any lines.
That reminds me of the line in High Fidelity- "Please don't take this as mean-hearted, but are you on crack or just retarded?"

Oh well.
I ordered a new PC for the office. This computer is 5 years old, it is loaded and I gought Laplink to move filed. Anyone ever use this product?
No, brd, never used it, but it sounds HIGH MAINTENANCE to me!
DD, I'll be your LMFF if you'll be mine! (Actually, I'll be yours either way!)
New computers are always fun!
It goes unsaid, Miss P!
I love new computers. I love my new mac.
My new lap top and I are best friends.
My computer isn't so new anymore, but I still love it!
Just remember, folks, that there is the "honeymoon" period and then there are the "hard times." Please don't misunderstand me. I'm not a cynic, nor am I unromantic.
I'm just reminding you that even though your relationship with your computer begins with the best intentions, once your computer starts to let down its guard and show you its flaws, it's going to be a lot more difficult to stick by its side. So let's see who's really committed and who just wants this relationship when all is rosy!!!!!!
That was deep.
OH... my computer is perfectly flawed.
Like deciding to not 'wake up' if it goes to sleep with a program running, and losing whatever I had open at that time.
Or having only a 3 1/2 hour battery life instead of the advertised 5.
Or my dock shortcuts mysteriously not working and having to reset them all.
And I still love it. It must be true, then?
