I am also a fan of pepperoni, bell peppers, and onions

I love bbq chicken pizza. Surprisingly, I had it in the cafeteria at school and didn't hate it, although that had to be some of the worst pizza ever.
And, I honestly would take Pizza Hut over the crap I had in Michigan once. It literally was like the stuff in the school cafeteria. It scares me that people actually go to that place and probably think they are getting good pizza.

I usually cook the chicken in broth and then chop in up. I schmear Jack Daniels sauce on the crust and then a little monterey jack, then some chicken, then more cheese. Then chopped fresh cilantro. I cook it at 400 for about 10 minutes. I use a Boboli crust because I am lazy. It's really yummy though.
I also like to make pizza with pepperoni, kalamata olives and fresh basil.

When I lived in small town, Arkansas, we had a place called Pizza Pro. The best deal was the College Student Special, available 7 days a week, all-day long:
2 Large 2-Topping Pizzas
1 2-Liter Pepsi Product
1 Order Large Breadsticks
1 Order Dessert Pizza OR Cinnasticks
All the Garlic Butter/Dipping Sauce/Parmesean (ew) you want
Price?
$4.99 + tax.
We just had to pick it up ourselves.

I was visiting friends in Lisbon last year. My last night we went out for pizza.
My friend's wife Lizzie asked me "You like tuna and pineapple on your pizza don't you?" I had it
The best one when I was in Queenstown, New Zealand. I tried kangaroo in Australia so I figured I'd try something different on the menu
"How's the crocodile and mango pizza?" I asked the waitress.
"DON'T do it,' she replied emphatically. I chickened out and got mushroom fettucine.

Posted: 1/8/09 at 11:58pmYeah, I usually just go for the plain or extra cheese myself. What I don't get is the ziti pizza. I had it and was not impressed at all, but everyone I know loves it. Pasta does not belong on pizza at all.

I agree, Marianne. Hey lots of people like all that stuff but I don't consider it real pizza at that point.
Actually, I read somewhere that the original pizza was just crust and sauce. I like it that way also.

Posted: 1/9/09 at 12:28amThe innovation which gave us the particular flat bread we call “pizza” was the use of tomato as a topping. For some time after the tomato was brought to Europe from the Americas in the 16th century, it was believed by many Europeans to be poisonous (as are some other fruits of the nightshade family). However, by the late 18th century it was common for the poor of the area around Naples to add tomato to their yeast-based flat bread, and so the pizza was born. The dish gained in popularity, and soon Pizza became a tourist attraction as visitors to Naples ventured into the poorer areas of the city in order to try the local speciality.

Posted: 1/9/09 at 12:45amFor those of you who like thin crust pizza and want to make it at home try using large flour tortillas. You rub the tortilla with olive oil and maybe a little butter, put your toppings on. It takes no time at all to bake.

Of course pizza is unhealthy - the crust is a non-whole-grain starch, the cheese is full of fat, and there's a ton of oil in it.
I love using the Trader Joe's crusts to make my own. Yum.

Posted: 1/9/09 at 2:37amI love pizza with chicken and broccoli on it! I actually cooked dinner tonight and made like a hybrid of meatloaf and pizza... weird, I know but it was delicious! I made a basic meatloaf, topped it with tomato sauce, put sauteed yellow peppers and onions on top and sprinkled it with cheddar then baked it. It was so quick, easy, and surprisingly tasty!

i love me some Costco pizza... but damn if this isn't one of the greasiest pizzas i've ever eaten (next to Pizza Hut!)...
also whenever i go to CPK... does you guys have California Pizza Kitchen out i the east coast? just curious... anyways i love ordering the Thai Chicken Pizza on honey wheat (no bean sprouts)... or the BLT Pizza on honey wheat... and the classic BBQ chicken pizza... on occasion i'll also order the Sicilian on thin crust... anyone of those pizzas with either a chicken tortilla or chicken adobo soup... mmm mm mmm... good stuff!

Janey...a girl after my own heart.
Now for my most favorite pizza in the whole wide world..I swear I could eat a Sicilian pie all by myself.
