Elphaba, see funny enough, for me the friendliest poeple I ever met were in NYC. I was trying to find an Off-Broadway theater and was on the wrong subway and had asked one person and pretty much everyone on the train got involved in trying to explain to me how to get there. One girl then gave me her laminated subway map... just so nice.

I said in Europe yessica......you'll never hear me knocking New Yorkers. On my first trip there we gave the busdriver at the airport a $50 (thinking it was a $20) and he told us.....
and I dropped my phone apparently in front of the Flatiron Building, and a guy chassed me down the street with it to give it back.

Seriously, all my friends have moved away while I was gone... I've done some visiting, but need to save for London, so I can't even go out. It's pretty sad really..
