Batman Forever and Batman and Robin- Dear God, both films were just god awful and Schumacer basically brought the films back to the campy 60s tv show, and the whole casting of Arnold as Mr.Freeze in Batman and Robin was just wrong.
Napoleon Dynamite-I did not laugh once during the entire film
Superman Returns- It was more of a chick flick than a comic book action film. Batman Begins was so much better
Hulk and Fantastic Four- I hated both and sadly both are getting sequels; The only Marvel comics that were great as films were Spiderman, X-Men, and Blade. I so hope Ghost Rider is good.
The Ring- Not scary, didn't deserve a sequel
Darkness Falls- Stupid and pointless

It's probably not THE worst, but of the more recent bad movies out there, AUGUST RUSH is high on the list.

The remake of Bedazzled with Brendan Fraser.
homophobic, unfunny, offnesive and pointless.
I usually find some redeeming valus in every movie, regardless how bad. But there was not one single element in this film that was even remotely worthwhile.

Mine is Tristan & Isolde, mainly because I study the medieval text it's supposedly based on.

Definitely agree with everything you said about the BEDAZZLED re-make with Brendan Fraser.
HOSTEL (I was on a date and he wanted to see it... he wasn't worth it)
MAID IN MANHATTAN/THE WEDDING PLANNER (Jennifer Lopez' romantic comedies are just not romantic or funny)
MY SUPERGIRLFRIEND or whatever that movie with Uma Thurman is called.
RUNNING WITH SCISSORS (not only the worst but the most disappointing)
BEAUTY SHOP
THE ISLAND (I almost fell out of love with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson because of this movie)
THE DEPARTED (yeah, I said it)

OVER HER DEAD BODY with Eva Longoria. Possibly the worst movie I have ever seen.

I loved Hostel and The Departed, but I do agree with you about The Island. A COMPLETE waste of time and money.

Gordy - the other talking-pig movie of 1995.
At the end of that movie, I was rooting for the slaughterhouse. (And I'm a vegetarian, so you know that's gotta be bad.)

"In the Name of the King"
Burt Reynolds as the King. On a horse. 'Nuff said.
"Big Lebowski" comes a close second. Although my friends would stone me if they knew I thought so!

Has anybody seen a particularly bad Italian parody called CHICKEN PARK (yes a spoof if everybodies favorite Dinosaur movie). It was just plain rotten-egg-smell bad. There was snothing redemeable about it (most bad movies at least have something worthy even if it is a camp value). This was just awful.
And ditto to the person upthread who said MULHOLLAND DRIVE. Now I do like David Lynch, but this movie is clearly screaming 'trying too hard' and ends up being too 'duh'. Plus the lesbian sex was completely pointless and out of place and detracted from the movie. I think the main problem was trying to cram what was suppose to be a TV show into a 2 hour movie. Maybe with 13 episode format it could've easily paced itself out more and turned into another Twin Peaks (which I loved) but it just ended up being a big pile of gooey mess.

Mulholland Drive was a masterpiece (I actually liked it) compared to the mess that was Inland Empire, which goes down in my book as Lynch's worst. Not one redeemable moment in the entire film. A waste of time, money and celluloid.

Loathed MULHOLLAND DR., and INLAND EMPIRE was even worse, all the narrative double crossing got really boring really quick. There are the occasional moments where Lynch seems to remember how to get something happening, but not enough to make me sit through either one again any time soon.
COLD MOUNTAIN was pretty loathsome, too. Almost as bad as that Musical Which I Will No Longer Name.

PUNCH DRUNK LOVE (the worst movie ever).
MAGNOLIA (there are four of the most bizarre hours I've ever experienced).
NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (yes, I said it! I liked the general BAMF-ness of the characters, but overall, I found the movie a dreadful bore. I kept looking at the clock to see how much might be left. Not a good sign!).

Has anyone mentioned I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE? Hynotically awful and offensive on just about every possible level...
