"Happy Heights." My ex, who actually tried to get me to sit through "Freddy Got Fingered," and I watched it together, and even he turned to me at one point and said: "This is awful. You never get to pick out the movie again."
I had "Baby Geniuses" as an in-flight movie, but I didn't make it past the opening sequence.

"Quigley Down Under." Just... loathsome.

RENT is pretty hilarious, yeah, I'll agree with that one.
Others:
8MM -- Unspeakable, with Nicolas Cage directed by Joel Schumacher
AS YOU LIKE IT -- Branagh does to Shakespeare what shouldn't be done to a dog.
LAST YEAR AT MARIENBAD -- It removes Artsy, and concentrates on Fartsy.
INLAND EMPIRE -- David Lynch's journey up his own anus continues.
CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS -- One of the worst of Woody Allen's "serious" movies.
ANOTHER WOMAN -- probably, with SEPTEMBER, the very worst of Woody Allen's "serious" movies.

Another vote for "Punch Drunk Love". I was bored to death.

Speaking of recent movie musicals...THE PRODUCERS! God that was an awful waste of time, money, and energy. I couldn't believe it was so dreadful. The worst part is I really wanted to like it.

I'm usually easy to entertain with a popcorn romantic comedy flick, but even I loathed The Wedding Date. I think I was amused by one line of dialogue in it, and it came about ten minutes into the movie. All downhill from there.

Mame, At Long Last Love, The Wiz, Flashdance come to mind.
I actually like Batman Forever which some here bring up. Val Kilmer was the best Batman IMHO and the interaction with Robin here is cool. Visually BF is wonderful. Why is it so disliked in comparison to Batman (Keaton) or the truly terrible Batman and Robin and Batman Returns (a big bore)?

Saw 2. I had both the first movies on netflix and watched the first one and was quite disappointed but figured since i had the sequel i'd watch it too. yeah, it was worse. There really wasn't anything redeeming about it.
wait no, i take it back
Final Destination 2. that was worse.

Final Destination 2 is actually my favorite out of the series.
I still stick with "Miami Vice" as the Single Worst Movie Ever Made

Yes, roquat, I saw "I Spit On Your Grave." It was an 80's movie, correct? One of the worst ever.....can't really remember much about it because I think I blocked it out.

Loved all the Final Destinations, particularly 2. and I LOVED 8mm. Guess it's just me.
But I will agree with Punch Drunk Love and Miami Vice. Horrible, just horrible.

I can't remember if I already responded to this thread, and I don't have time to search.
But my answer is easy.
The Dukes of Hazzard
Runners-up:
- Crossroads
- Rat Race
- Across the Universe
- No Country for Old Men

I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

This honor was held by a short film that starred Annie Lennox and Linda Hunt titled "The Room."
My wife and I just crowned a new champion, a Chinese movie filmed in video format called "Iron Lion." We do applaud the promoters of this film, however, in their ability to fool us into being taken in by the outer packaging and trailer that it was another Chinese epic that we so often enjoy viewing.

Adding to my list on page 3...
THE LAKE HOUSE
I tried to watch it on a plane, and didn't manage to actually watch through the whole movie, but I think it deserves an honorable mention nonetheless.

And how could I forget--
SWEET NOVEMBER
A nauseating tear-jerker featuring the absolute bar-none worst performance ever delivered by Keanu Reeves. He plays a cliched aggressive advertising executive, and in one scene involving an elaborate sales pitch Reeves hits the absolute low point in American movie acting. Ed Wood would have re-shot it. Hilarious and appalling.

I haven't seen the SWEET NOVEMBER remake, but it CAN'T be worse than the original (starring Sandy Dennis and Anthony Newley). I was rooting for the incurable disease--and Newley gets "transformed" at the end by becoming even more coy and obnoxious than he usually is. Favorite critical quote--"I'm sure pictures like this give people pimples."
I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."

I would say Catwoman or From Justin to Kelly, but those were definitely in the so-bad-they're-good category. So I'd have to say Rent. That was just horrible. I want those two and a half hours of my life back, please.

"I Know Who Killed Me"
horrid, terrible movie.
my daughter and her friend ordered it on pay per view and I'm still pissed I had to pay 4.99 for it.

why, oh why, are there NO Marjoe Gortner movies in this thread? since I always pop out the DVD as soon as Marjoe's character is killed off, I guess the worstestest one I've seen to the end was Food of the Gods
