I'm think of throwing my support to Lincoln Chafee;
HuffPo is reporting that Biden is NOT running.
I'm curious to know what the polls will look like now that Biden announced he will not be running. But I'm even more curious to know how and why Webb is still polling higher than O'Malley following last weeks debate....
For the record, I'm a Hillary supporter more so than a Bernie one. I would be happy with either being our next president and whoever wins the democratic ticket has my vote because I will always and forever vote Democrat no matter what. I'd say 90% of my friends are for Bernie and I can understand why; but I've noticed between friends on FaceBook and people who are commenting on articles online (and clearly on BWW as well) who support Bernie are constantly bashing Hillary and her supporters to the point they're coming across as GOP far right trolls.
It feels good to say "President Clinton" again.

It feels good to say "President Clinton" again.
As someone who works for incredibly corrupt and morally-challenged American Red Cross, I bet it does!
Excited for Clinton. Sorry.. but I agree...the hate coming out from Sanders supporters on social media is making them sound like right wing internet trolls. Very sad since I do like Sanders and that is not what his message is all about.

Many of them are phonies like the 'band, trying to get people to sit out the election so a Republican will win.

Republicans are f*cking corrupt cronies. Just like the Democrats. Show me a genuine middle-of-the-road, centrist Independent and I'm on board. Someone who has no political party, special interest group or corporation to answer to.

Lol, I don't work for the Red Cross.
Nor did I ever say I did.
That's another of your incredibly stupid assumptions drawn from some random piece of misinformation.
Similar to the way you were so sure that Namo was someone else.
Talk about corrupt.

Hillary Cilnton, just because you think you own the entire country, doesn't mean you have the power over everyone! For 23 years, I've been dying to tell you what I thought of you. And now, well being a Christian person I can't say it!
That's as funny as the current DrudgeReport headline, using a picture of her in a witch's hat.
I always feel a little nauseated when the Left attacks her with the same lazy misogynistic memes as the Right.

Who should she choose for a VP?
Let's cast it!

PJ - technically, you're correct. Trump does fit that description. But he has no political experience and a major inability to remain diplomatic, which I personally believe is an essential characteristic for the presidency. So, no thanks. I'll pass. I was thinking a mix of Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders... Kind of.
Lord are you boring.

It keeps happening, too. After the debate, everywhere online I saw a swarm of Sanders supporters frothing about how he really won, in spite of what all the pundits said, because manipulated online polls showed him winning with about 80%. And using it as proof of some sort of anti-Sanders conspiracy.
Now, in the very CNN poll article Erik quoted above we read that "More than 6-in-10 Democrats who watched say Clinton did the best job, almost doubling the 35% who thought Sanders had the best performance.
Sanders supporters have really turned me off of his candidacy.

But since that unicorn doesn't exist you'll bitch and moan and do your best to make sure a republican is president.

To address the one part of your post that actually is legitimate (since I do not vote Republican), I am going to sincerely respond with a question and I hope someone -- unlikely to be PJ or Namo -- will actually try to answer back with a serious, helpful, informative answer: why does that "unicorn" not exist? Why does our country have to be left or right, red or blue? Why can we not elect someone based solely on the issues and not on the political affiliation?? Forty or fifty years ago it was a healthy system but now, in 2015, that system has been corrupted and infiltrated with bad intentions, pride, greed, money and much more. So it's now time to CHANGE the antiquated system. Isn't it?

Stop throwing it on others to provide what you need. What exactly are you personally doing to help the change you want come about in a post-Citizens United world? Other than constantly hectoring people who don't give a damn about what you have to say?
Lisa, your unicorn doesn't exist because (if you were really looking for one, which seems doubtful) you would come up to it, squeeze it's horn and harrumph, "My word, this is one extreme left wing zebra!" As has been done with centerist after centerist.
(Not even to mention that this "healthy system" of 40 or 50 years ago is nothing more than a different type of magic desperate imaginary menagerie.)
On the Sanders/Clinton thing- I'm still definitely in favor of his candidacy, especially in any ways that it can help highlight Clinton on issues, but I also have had some strange interactions with Bernie supporters who don't want to stay rational. I'm all for the excitement, just less punchiness.
New Washington Post poll says Democrats think Hillary Clinton is more trustworthy than Bernie Sanders:
