Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush Still Favorites of Wall Street Banks

The banks are sticking with their picks.

"WASHINGTON -- Executives and employees of the biggest bank institutions in the country have continued to put their money behind two candidates in the 2016 presidential race: Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Jeb Bush.

 

From April through September, Clinton, the Democratic presidential frontrunner, raised $636,065 from employees (and their spouses) of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclay’s, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, UBS and Wells Fargo. Bush, the former Republican presidential frontrunner, pulled in $606,453

Of these totals, Clinton has received $132,124 from Morgan Stanley executives and employees, $95,709 from Bank of America Merrill Lynch and $94,602 from those at JPMorgan Chase. Bush's total includes $189,800 from executives and employees at Goldman Sachs and $90,960 from those at Bank of America Merrill Lynch."

HRC will be interviewed by Rachel Maddow tonight at 9PM (eastern). I expect she will hear more pointed, relevant questions from Maddow than she did in eleven hours with the committee.

This is the best, and most humane she has looked in years.  The GOP has done her a great favor.  I have been a supporter for a while, and this is the Hillary I have been supporting and rooting for.  

Also, it is really scary what the GOP is doing with our government.

The government is a corrupt minefield of lobbyists, special interest groups, donors and cronies. 99.9% of politicians serve in public office for the backdoor deals and under-the-table arrangements made with major corporations & lobbying firms in D.C. This alone ensures they and their family are set for life, whether it be through illegally-funded blood money (defense contracts, oil refineries, environmental groups, big banks, etc.) or invaluable, unreported "perks." The two-party political system is CORRUPT and run by special interest groups. I f*cking hate them and hate you all for supporting it.

Not for supporting a crackpot like Sanders. We hate you because you constantly spread lies in the hopes that maybe you'll cause someone harm.

 

And while most of us can respect your right to support whomever you choose (which is proper and how it should be, so maybe take a lesson from that) I daresay no one cares about you or your falsehoods.

 

 

Basically if you say it, I automatically don't believe it.

First off...Headband DOES NOT support Sanders. He's said that several times. He's trolling here like he does everywhere else.

As a Sanders supporter I think it's funny that all the Hillary supporters here like to call Sanders and his supporters crackpots. I haven't once questioned the motives of Hillary supporters here. But let's face it, if you consider yourself a progressive and you're voting for Hillary Clinton you're either naive or in denial.
