My two favorite shows/roles:

Once Upon a Mattress: Jester
Seussical : the Cat.

(I seem so high school-y saying those but it's so true. Both are such exuberant, fun roles.)

Call me Travis. :)

"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim

Most of my favourite roles have actually been in non-musical plays. But I've had a lot of fun playing some musical roles, too.

Some of my faves, among too many cameos and ensemble roles (and lousy musicals about Thomas Edison):

Annie-- Miss Hannigan
Mary Poppins-- Bert (I was going through... an awkward stage.)
Wizard of Oz-- Wicked Witch of the West
Roger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella-- Portia (stepsister)
Honk-- Turkey/Mother Swan (Best double role ever!)
Guys and Dolls-- Arvide
**High School Musical-- Mrs. Darbus. Believe it or not, this was actually my favourite role I've done.

As for some of my favourite plays:
Macbeth-- First Witch
Pride and Prejudice-- Lydia Bennet
Romeo and Juliet-- Juliet (I tried out for Mercutio, which I'd still have rather played!)
You Can't Take It With You-- Gay Wellington

And my favourite role I have ever played:
***Alice In Wonderland-- Mad Hatter
