Will Smith is annoying. I'm glad Benjamin Button won visual effects. The aging effect of Brad Pitt was seamless.

I don't get all the love for Slumdog. I thought it was okay, but nothing special.

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

I really DID love Slumdog. I don't mind all these wins at all. I think it deserves it re: harris007's 2009 oscar thread party

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I really enjoyed Slumdog, I'm glad it's won a bunch so far. Plus all their winners truly seem so very happy and thrilled to just be there.

I thought Will Smith was fine. He was a bit more reserved than I had expected and that was good.

I haven't read the rest of this thread yet so I don't know what has been said about Jackman but I wasn't crazy about his 2 numbers. But I am not crazy about his singing voice.

Slumdog is the little film that could- just like yes we can. They are part of the zeitgeist of our experience.

I can't remember the line -about telling us stories we want to believe, whether they are true or not. That's Slumdog.

Yes, except he couldn't read a line, proving to be a good film actor does not require actual acting skills.

Jerry may be a SOB to others, but I'll always love him for the laughter he's brought to me in hard times and for what he's done for MD. Bravo Jer!

I liked Jerry Lewis's speech. I didn't actually know if he was still alive but he looked pretty good!

Once he was able to get off the steroids he was able to lose that weight. Sadly he still suffered a heart attack a few years ago. You're right - for all he's been through, he looked great.

Alright, come on, that's ridiculous. Slumdog for best score? Defiance deserved it, and they only gave it to Slumdog because it's getting every single other fricken award. Come on! It did not deserve best score!

Alicia Keys looks GORGEOUS. Zac is apparently trying for the "20-something attempting old school Hollywood" look. And failing, as does everyone who tries to pull of that tired trend.
