Do you really think anybody is going to listen to the kid that spells horribly & bitches and moans about "cast cds"?

I have been a vocal non-fan of Leno's middle of the road non-comedy, but the 10pm slot may end up being hugely successful for NBC. With the other networks not even counter-programming against it yet, there's a good chance for him to get a leg up.
I think Leno will start off fine , however after the novelty is off the show will suffer. People are going to miss the grittier story lines of the scripted shows like SVU which having been moved to an earlier time slot will have to be more family friendly.
I am not sure how NBC with fare with basically a guy behind a desk interviewing people and telling jokes from 10 PM till 2 AM five nights a week.
I have less than no interest in this show.

There's not going to be a desk. See how DIFFERENT it is?

I am going to print this thread out and frame it. It has nothing to do with cast recordings of flops. And what happened to the theatre4 user name?
OH boy, so we can see Leno's paunch! YESSSSSSS!
He has to be better than Conan who is dying against Letterman.
I wanna see if Kanye shows up drunk with a hooker again.
Then I'll never watch it again.
Actually Roxy, Conan's ratings in the 18-48 market are killing Letterman. It is a different demographic that Conan brought with him, much like Letterman did when he moved to CBS.
Is it possible to cancel a show 20 minutes into its premiere? It's appallingly unwatchable.
I hate Leno. Love Conan and Letterman. I watch Letterman and DVR Conan.

I never thought I would say this about a Jay Leno show, but I have laughed out loud several times in the first half hour. The Dan Band was better than anything they tried in the pilot of Glee, by a long shot.

Kanye is such an asshole.
This whole thing is like a counseling session.

Ugh, I'm sorry, but Kanye's "apology" right now sounds like BS to me. And just awkward all around.

Admittedly not a Leno fan ...... but that was pathetic television all the way. Maybe the idea is to put on some dreadful comedy skits so SNL will look better.
Kanye needs therapy.
I didn't think it was that bad altogether...rusty, to be sure, but I think Leno will find his groove.
Granted, I'm only halfway through it here on Los Angeles, but I laughed out loud more than once during his opening monologue. Especially the Pelosi / Biden comment.
Not a Lenon fan, but this did nothing to make me become one. I thought the interview with Seinfeld wasn't funny, the Kanye thing was awkward and a clear PR move (and yet it didn't sound like much of an apology), and I absolutely hated the Obama "interview," it was incredibly predictable.
Chelsea Handler was funnier on E! right after this show ended.
The Kanye 'apology' was incoherent, rambling, and insincere. And the crowd applauded him. They actually applauded him. Made me want to vomit. I had little interest in the show, but tuned in at around 10:40 because the CBS comedies were running late due to tennis. I'll never tune in again.
