As I sit here eating a bowl of heavenly rice pudding, I had to ask myself: has there ever been a more perfect confectionery treat? Surely not! I just have to share my love for the most divine dessert in creation. Everyone should enjoy a bowl right now!

Glory, you've NEVER had rice pudding?? Inconcievable!! You poor thing, I'll have to send you a bowl...it's too lovely to explain. It's rice, in pudding form, with cinnamon and vanilla, and its sooo good!!

I love rice. And I love pudding. But rice and pudding; never the twain should meet. I would no sooner want to eat Rice Pudding than I would Potato Pudding or Pasta Pudding. Although I do love me some Bread Pudding! YUM!!!
mmmmmmm. SO GOOD!!!!
Anyone in NY, you must go to "Rice to Riches" on Spring btw. Mott and Mulberry. INSANELY decadent and delicious.
They sell it at my school for 50 cents. Makes me leap with utter delight everytime I buy some!
Another little tidbit the Automat excelled at. It is amazing how something that served mass quantities of food excelled at making so many varieties of excellant food.

I only like the creamy type of rice pudding that you get in diners in NY. It also has to have plenty of raisins.

OOH!
That sounds good
I had fried ice cream last friday for the first time and it was GOOD
Years ago there was a German store in Bay Ridge that sold rice pudding with meringue on it. I still think about how wonderful it was.
As I am leaving for a cruise in 10 days, i will have the delightful opertunity of experiencing each and every dessert of which you speak (and more)! And as i am rolled off the ship (as i will have gained 100 pounds at least by the end of the cruise) I will be sure to grab a few desserts for the road and will send them to each and every one ofyou (via e-mail, of course).
I am extremely hungry now....SNACK TIME!
Disgusting.
I just had Rice to Riches pudding the other day and I am it's bitch. I'm not a big rice pudding fan but oh my god, so good!

I like rice pudding served warm.
I am amazed that there are many folks who are repulsed by the idea of any pudding served hot. They only know instant pudding made in a blender. To me there's nothing better than chocolate pudding made in a pot on top of the stove, poured into a dish and allowed to cool for just a minute or two. Maybe with a dollop of whipped cream on top.

The French make rice pudding best--withj a layer of caramel on the bottom of the dish.
Rice pudding is sent from heaven on the wings of angels. I must make sure I eat some when I take my next Atkins break.
