Posted: 10/10/09 at 4:51pmSame thing happened to me Mike. I was walking on the street on a trip & this guy came up and handed me a CD. He started jabbering on about how he's trying to make it in the business & asked me a for a donation. I said that I didn't have any on me (A lie of course) & he ripped the CD from my hand & walked off.

Theatre I hate that so much. They try to look for people (not that they think like that sort of music) who they think they can manipulate into buying it.
I get insulted whenever they approach me.
the funniest thing is when their "currently in the process of signing a deal" and they can even sign the Copy for you.

Posted: 10/10/09 at 6:28pmHow is it offensive? Are you rubbing the lack of god in their face?

Posted: 10/10/09 at 6:38pmI was offered one of those "free" cds once. I took it, and was told that I'd have to pay $10 donation. He snatched it out of my hands, lol!

Posted: 10/10/09 at 9:07pmTheatreFan4, no, when I tell people I'm an atheist, I do it in a polite, non-offensive way. Some people just think that the very idea of considering non-existence of a god is unacceptable. I don't take offense when people say they're Christian or Jewish, so why should they be offended that I'm an atheist?

To the broads at the Lea Salonga concert who insisted on taking photos throughout the show and singing along, go take a long walk on short pier.
And to the pimple faced girl two rows behind me in the Les Mis shirt who also sang along, I'm really sorry you are you. I hope your life gets better. Maybe next time you'll actually have a friend to attend with you. Oh, and you can put your lighter away. It's not a Bon Jovi concert.

To the NJ Unemployment office. I tried filing online like I normally do, but couldn't because you rejected my social security number for some odd reason. Then I called you up to go through the process and find out that your office is closed, which does not surprise me. So thank you for making filing this week impossible.

Posted: 10/12/09 at 4:04pmNo I didn't. They told me to file it today though. I tried online first, and that did not work at all, and I got a message to call. I didn't want to because I figured it would be useless, so I tried online again and was told my social security number was invalid. So I did call, and of course, I was told that my benefits could not be processed until I spoke to someone, and there is nobody there. If this can't go through today, I better not get a phone call tomorrow telling me I was supposed to, when I tried and failed multiple times.

I seriously dislike the disappearance of posts you bump up.
Anyway, I know I have discussed a former friend of mine a few times here. But, she needs to shut up from an email she sent me and other people she knows.
Basically, she emailed us all to beg one of us to give her a ride to Philadelphia to meet her favorite band, AFI. It gets better. She already went to somewhere else in Pennsylvania recently for that, but isn't satisfied because her favorite band member was not there because he was sick. She went on and on about how important this is and how neither of her parents could drive her and she tried finding other fans from the area, on the internet, to take her too.
I'm just not going to respond and pretend I never got it. I actually feel very embarrassed for her and normal fans of this band. I still can't believe she did this. I almost feel like responding negatively, but I know that won't go anywhere, and I think not responding shows more maturity.

Marianne Honey, This is what you should do. Tell her you'll driver her to Philadelphia to see her favorite band. About an hour before you're supposed to pick her up, tell her something suddenly came up and you can't go anymore. She'll be devastated that she can't see her favorite band, and plus she'll be so mad at you, that she'll never talk to you again. Problem solved.
Kisses!!

Shut up, Carrie Prejean. You are an ignorant bitch and you don't know the meaning of "inappropriate". You think Larry King was being inappropriate? How about when you took off your mic just as a caller who happened to be gay asked you a question?
The day the media forgets about you and your stupidity will be the happiest day of my life.

And the story from this person just gets better. This cd signing she wanted to go to was yesterday. Yep, she sent the email at 10am, and expected someone to not be busy later in the day. I didn't even read it until after 1pm because I'm working again, and I can't get on a computer there.
The only reason I found this out is because I'm not 100% familiar with the band, AFI, so I was just curious and found the info on their website. And we live about 2 1/2 to 3 hours away from Philly, so it definitely was not going to work out, even if I was still friends with this girl.

To the partner who sits a couple of doors down from me - STFU!!!
He constantly walks around and talks to clients on his headset like he's the only one here. We know you got divorced. We know you just got remarried. I'm also tired of hearing the baby talk whenever you're talking to your daughter.
